One of the many reasons doctors, scientists, and the public are so mislead by vaccine pseudoscience is because so much of the published vaccine "safety" research is fraudulent misrepresentations of the facts. The authors of this paper disregarded the data, misrepresented their findings, and fabricated a false conclusion that is not supported by anything else in the paper. academic.oup.com
And let's be clear, I've yet to find a pro-vaccine advocate that reads both sides of the vaccine safety debate. The few that even both to read the medical literature, rarely read more than the title and the conclusion. Thus, they confirm their bias with biased and misrepresentative research publications like this one.
