loneliness is totally a part of it. your housemate is a young, when you're young you think it has to be like that but i think everyone has to realize for themselves that on the deepest, deepest level everyone is truly alone. there are parts of other people will never know or see. they are afraid of that void so they spend a lot of time with each other to run away from that fear but eventually it'll catch up - when the relationship stops becoming interesting. sex is always nice tho
