Why doesn’t the government just legalize drugs? As long people aren’t endangering anyone I don’t see what the problem is.
Drugs
why are drugs even illegal in the first place? what right does the government have to interfere with my personal choices of what I spend my time and money on?
I don't give a fuck, let people shoot up battery acid for all I care. But, I don't want to have to give them any gibs.
>As long people aren’t endangering anyone
How will you guarantee that people won't be endangering anyone?
Just legalize enriched Plutonium while you’re at it.
>why are drugs even illegal in the first place?
You live in a society made of people like you and you interfere with other people like you.
The 'government's theoretical function is to make sure the nation is comprised of proper individuals who follow what has been collectively decided, because 'we' are what we're made of and currently the people's consensus is against having half the pop high on drugs.
If you want no one to interfere with your personal choices, you can test the following, build a shack on a remote mountaintop and do illegal drugs all day every day. No one will have an issue with it.
Sperging about muh personal when you affect the collective you're part of, is intellectually dishonest.
>How will you guarantee that people won't be endangering anyone?
how will you guarantee that people won't be endangering anyone driving? or with knives? I know lets just ban and illegalize everything anyone might use to maim/hurt/kill anything.
>currently the people's consensus is against having half the pop high on drugs.
youre a fucking idiot. that statement is completely false. private corporations within the us aka big pharma have billions of dollars at stake by keeping illegal drugs illegal. they only want their drugs given to the population by doctors. there is a massive billion dollar industry that would be severely impacted if you could go to cvs and buy heroin to kill pain. or buy amphetamines to study longer. take your head out of your ass. drugs being illegal has nothing to nothing to do with a "common good" and the government doesnt give a shit about "keeping the population proper"
wake up america
>the government doesnt give a shit about "keeping the population proper"
this
>An estimated 88,0008 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women8) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity.
and yet its still legal..
because on certain drugs you realize this whole system they have set up is an illusion, a joke, a sham.
thank god and Albert Hofmann
Because I dont want filthy junkies to be accepted, bad enough we have to tolerate them on our street corners. I am not accepting filthy junkies being allowed to openly take meth or coke in public places. When we are born everyone should have to take some type of poison thst iills you instantly when your body has more than 50 grams of class a drugs in your body over time
>openly take meth or coke in public places
drinking in public is acceptable now?
I dont give a fuck I dont want junkies to exist
>comparing knives with drugs
>dat false equivalence
Have you ever sat down to calculate the positive to negative effect ratio of things around you?
Are you saying the positive:negative of car usage is the same to e.g. flaka? Can you name ONE positive thing to society flaka has?
Nothing you said has any relation to my argument.
The people's consensus IS against having the population high on drugs.
Private corporations and their interests are irrelevant to what the people want for the society they live in.
The billion dollar industry that will be harmed by drugs is irrelevant to the fact people do not want the world to be high on heroin all day long.
What the government gives a shit about is also irrelevant, considering I stated the 'theoretical' function it has. The government is designed to represent the people. Now I get you're a stoner who thinks his opinion is shared by the majority, but it's not what happens in reality.
Alcohol being bad is not an argument in favor of legalizing drugs, it's an argument in favor of regulating alcohol.
What if they did it in the privacy of their own home?
Junkies themselves don't like that they exist, that's why they take drugs.
This is what salvia looks like
>government just legalize drugs?
Drugs destroy peoples health, a fact pushers would not tell there clients.
>If you do heroin at home, it's fine, the effects go away the next day.
I keep doing the mistake of entering druggie breads, I never learn.
No, they will do what junkies do and go out and rob, steal, act up in public. Junkies who do it at home don't get arrested
Psychedelics are great. But i don't think the average sub human mouth breather can fully immerse themselves in the experience, take responsible doses, and walk away with a better outlook on life.
