The victims were police and civilians, including police families. Dorner killed four people and wounded three others. In two separate incidents during the manhunt, police shot at three civilians unrelated to Dorner, mistaking their pickup trucks for the vehicle being driven by Dorner. One of the civilians was hit by the police gunfire, another was wounded by shattered glass, and a third individual was injured when police rammed his vehicle and opened fire. The officers involved were not charged with any crime

I heard "burn that motherfucker down". Also the id and wallet wasnt burned but his body was which was weird because everything else was smoldered and the other ids found in san diego with his name on it. I'm thinking he escaped and the police said he killed himself so that they wouldn't look too incompetent. Remember, the police were being really sketchy and shooting at trucks that didn't look like dorners truck at all and he was hiding right next to a police station which is amazing how he managed to slip around right in front of their noses. I'm thinking he escaped and didnt burn but the police lied. The dorner saga was pretty interesting, our school played the shooting coverage and news coverage on the PA system. Even our teacher didnt believe the original story.
