this has been happening a lot.. I'll hear the jet engines from planes. they're really loud and seem to be somewhat far away. it is kinda how i would imagine afterburners sound like but I'm no air force guy
uhh this is like north of san diego i dont think it is miramar even tho others suggested it could be there. it could be over the ocean....
it often happens like 3am to 6am but i'm noticing it the past few hours. it comes and goes and does not seem to be the wind, definitely sounds like a plane. the commercial airport nearby doesn't do late night traffic so... what gives?

I just asked a friend of mine who used to be stationed at pendleton and yea he said this is pretty normal
