That's true, yes, but to my knowledge, most people become gay through how I described, although many can become gay through other means such as you described. My point is that gayness isn't something inherent - it's something that is caused by a reaction to a negative/unhealthy social environment. They aren't "born that way" - if anything, they're "raised that way".
