Switzerland EU gun directive

eu-diktat-nein.ch

Swissbros, the directive passed by the EU that bans magazines over 10 rounds and 20 for rifles will be put to a nationwide vote on May 19th.

Vote NO on the directive. It is a massive infringement on rights and liberties, and the only way you can own them is through an exemption permit which is up to cantonal discretion. Cantons like Geneva, Vaud and Neuchatel for example do not issue it, while others like Aargau need a fucking day pass every time you want to shoot exemption permits.

The government lied in 2005 when it said joining Schengen would not affect gun rights. This directive also allows the EU to make the laws stricter every five years.

Right now the early polls say 66% support: reuters.com/article/us-swiss-eu-guns/swiss-set-to-back-tighter-gun-controls-avoid-eu-clash-poll-idUSKCN1RO15V

Raise awareness and get more people to vote no.

Arguments to reject this shit:

>This directive bans the most commonly held magazine in Switzerland, you will need an exemption permit. The issue is that cantons like Geneva do not issue this permit, while many cantons like Aargau need a day pass every time you want to shoot these types of weapons.

>Guns are a right under the 1997 Weapons act in Switzerland, it isn't a privilege like elsewhere and you do not need to specify a reason to obtain a weapons acquistion permit, or justify it. The Swiss government stated in 2005 that joining Schengen would not affect firearms laws, here we are.

>Access to the market and free movement existed in bilaterals with the EU well before joining Schengen, it had nothing to do with it. There was no need to join Schengen. The Czech Republic rejected this directive and filed a lawsuit, while the EU still can't get some nations to take refugees. What will happen if this directive is rejected is a renegotiation. Many EU companies rely heavily on Swiss banks which are some of the largest banks in the world. It will not greatly disadvantage both economies over magazines. The EU cares far less about guns than it does about refugees for example.

>The vast majority of illicit firearms used in crime or terrorism in the EU are smuggled from Eastern Europe OUTSIDE of Schengen, firearms in the EU are controlled and tracked already including Switzerland.

>This directive allows the EU to tighten the laws every five years, Swiss gun owners have agreed to multiple restrictions in the past, but it does not end. The nations' gun homicide rate is even lower than Australia now. It is a constant slope to more restrictions and bans in the future, and the worst part is that any directive passed in Brussels regarding guns, copyright laws, or anything else, every nation has to comply even if most people in the countries oppose it. This is absolutely terrible, especially for a nation like Switzerland that prides itself on its own people voting on policies that affect the nation.

>Lastly: I hope you guys stocked up on these mags. Peaceful non-compliance is needed, and there are 3D blueprints for these magazines online.

Also as a bonus, here's one of the top SP politicians saying that the directive should be even stricter: mobile.twitter.com/NordmannRoger/status/1106860739732664320

bump for swissnigs

You best stock up on 20 round mags then "lose" them.

copy and paste this shit to any sp or fdp retard

Stock up now swissanons and vote no

If I have to hand in my guns, I'll do so and I'll buy a fully auto AK on the same day on the black market and then I'll shoot every politician who promoted stricter gun laws.
Then I'll go to jail for 5 years until the system collapses.

This is sarcasm, of course.

This directive is retarded. How did Austria respond to this directive btw? I haven't heard anything in relation to it and everyone seems armed as fucked here. Are people just ignoring or what?

Switerzland you're the only truly free European country out there. Channel the wisdom of your predecessors and tell the EU to fuck off.

Switzerland is doomed and you shouldn't even bother to try to save it.
Every votation results are about getting more cucked, less freedom, and sucking EU's cocks despite not being a part of it.
And don't get me started on demographics, just go in any school and the kids are 70% migrants.

This time is exactly the same, no one cares about the guns, it's just about doing what the EU wants or there can be repercussions.

I'm just making money and retiring asap in a real country in eastern europe.
Fuck Juncker and fuck zoomers.

>not in the EU
>muh EU made me do this

Really makes you think. Almost like the EU is a scapegoat to hide the complicity of corporate-owned national governments, completely subverted by international americanism and multiculturalism. You would've thought the whole Brexit debacle would wake people up to this fact (followed by a vast increase of non-european migration), but i guess not.

please tell me you are a vpn shill... I wanted to move there to get those shekels to prepare for the shit that is to come and comf in the mountains while doing it. I Need proof. Photograph something from switz with timestamp and map location to know that you are not a kike then send some articles, statistics, whatever

Do you need more proofs than this romanian gypsy planning to come here for money like millions of his brothers did before? I can't go home without dozens of them begging while being on welfare.
And they come from everywhere, now the new wave is mostly from erythrea.

And so you know... real romanians are hardworking. Not very good at administrator, but very trusty and capable workers. Idk what refugees were been shilled in your country, but they are not Romanians.
I would learn the language and got a job before coming.
I would produce, earn and return to my country to invest and produce jobs for my romanian brothers.

Well, have a fun sinking you supercilious cunt

There's a good chance this won't pass because the EU is being too greedy with this.

>I wanted to move there to get those shekels to prepare for the shit that is to come and comf in the mountains while doing it.
That's what literally everyone wants and the fags and women in our government are willing to let everyone in. Add to that that butthurt boomers refuse to vote (turnouts are between 30-40%) and the only ones actually voting are retarded gen-xers and milennials voting green and red. The result is everything going to shit.
