I’m from Jow Forums, so I’m not a great person; but I need help. I’ve lasted in bed all day and it’s almost 4:30am. I have OCD. About a month ago, I decided that I wanted to teach in Japan. What really intrigued me is that there are really no leftists, people are actually sane, and it’s one of if not the cleanest countries in the world. There are very few immigrants, so that means pretty much everyone gets along and there’s no “multiculturalism” or “diversity”, which I like. Japan for me, represents one of the last few countries on earth where people are not totally insane.
I don’t wanna hurt anybody. I just don’t want Japan to change at all. I cannot stop reading, and researching things. I started obsessing over immigration, and how everywhere else in the world is. Japan is letting in more immigrants because of their declining birth rate. I’m thinking about getting involved in a political party in Japan and pushing against immigration and pushing to solve the birth rate issue, but I’m just one man. I know I’m fucked up in my ideals, but I can’t help it, and I just want to cry and for someone to hug me. I don’t know what to do.

...How does that make any sense? I get your impulse to run away. Because Japan is such a foreign place, it seems like it has to be magical. "Prety much everyone gets along" is something you see as an image from the outside. A lot of people move to Asia to find a place where everyone is happy and just find a culture that is better at hiding unhappiness.
Also, if you stay too long in Asia and don't have a plan for the future, it's like putting your life on hold, without establishing roots here or there.
I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Maybe you can stop feeling like the world is declining, and find peace where you are.

Because socialistic policies give overall better quality of life, through things such as an efficient education system so citizens can acquire some skill sets,a well funded police force to keep everybody safe, a functioning healthcare system, a strong military force, you get the point.
