Gestured for paper, pretended I was mute. Cop started speaking every word real slow, just gave written answers for a lot of stuff.
Cop was just doing a routine check, one of the highway drunk stops. Took about ten minutes, most of which was writing out answers and needing to rewrite them because the cop couldn't read them.
Once he said I was free to go, I just responded with "thanks, mate" and left.
The look on his face was priceless.

I did this last time I got pulled over. I said nothing to him and it made him quite mad so he tried looking around for absolutely anything he could tack onto the fine he was already going to give me. He found nothing.
