>Notre Dame's interior is almost completely intact >this is due to the architecture of the cathedral, and the vaulted ceiling of heavy stone beneath the wooden roof >vaulted ceilings were designed partly so that churches wouldn't burn down when the roof caught fire >managed to withstand the flames despite being 800+ years old
Can you believe the Middle Ages are called the "dark ages"? Apologize right now.
Name a time where monks burned books. Also reminder that dawkins was literally too dumb to refute aquinas and had to strawman
Landon Foster
The Dark Age came before the Medieval Age. It's "dark" because a lot of what happened is unknown. That term didn't even exist until after the Renaissance.
>Be American >Be historically illiterate >Repeat jewish historical revisionism on the internet to undermine european tradition
Noah Moore
How did the roof catch fire?
Jack Adams
the west had it's glory days in the past. now intelligence and ability is diluted with shitskins and niggers and muh vagina and things will never be the same again.
>Can you believe the Middle Ages are called the "dark ages"? Literally nobody thought this unless you didnt pay attention in school, around the year 400 to 900 is the dark ages, but even then we dont call them the dark ages now. It's the age of migration.
Blake Brown
>Hurr durr >Monks hated science and burned books How about you at least pick one up, retard
Isaiah Mitchell
>>science books don't exist Um user... ever heard of Alexandria?
Easton Reyes
i think you might be falling for b8 m88 the legitimately dumb posts with jewsa flags i think are mostly mexicans t b h remember, we are at 56% white, and that doesn't account for the hispanics that identify as white we may very well be 40% white at this point
Adam Rivera
You mean those books they held in Constantinople that helped the Renaissance?
Henry Barnes
>i think you might be falling for b8 m88 I'm quite convinced that all Muricans are afflicted with some form of retardation. Just look at who they vote for for proof or gifs like this. It's predominantly the white ones who are the worst too.
my sister used to eat butter like that too, wtf is it with girls and butter, my sister also isn't a fat ass just like that chick.
Chase Turner
lol ok retard there is nobody to vote for >posts one gif of some nasty thot eating a whole stick of butter WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT? THAT'S MY MOM!
Nicholas Williams
pic of your sister?
Alexander Baker
The dark ages only covers the period immediately after the fall of the Western Roman Empire when early medieval Europe collapsed into hundreds of petty kingdoms all squabbling for power, and is named that because it was a violent, miserable, disease ridden, war scarred period to be alive. The "dark ages because if the Church" is a myth.
Nigger Alexandria had a massive riot that would make the chimpouts in my country look like actual peaceful protests also the bitch you retards complain about being killed was a yee olde Katie Bouman
Caleb Smith
Middle Ages aren't the Dark Ages. Dark Ages are 500-1000 AD. Some call it the "Early Middle Age," but that's only because they realized that calling it the Dark Ages was completely inaccurate. In short, I agree user; there was a lot of good shit during the Dark Ages, and what we know about it would floor most people who know nothing about history.
American white have the highest iq among the white nations, as well as the highest reading and science pisa scores.
Adrian Gray
>800 year old church interior survives being engulfed in flames >20 year old towers can't survive a small fire outbreak caused by jet fuel
What did the NWO mean by this?
Xavier Bennett
*whites.
Jose Jenkins
This, though Still very impressive the vaulted ceiling holds after centuries, amazing
Carson Wood
>Can you believe the Middle Ages are called the "dark ages"?
late antiquity to the early middle ages was once called the "dark ages" but not for many years now
notre dame was built in the high middle ages
Kayden Hughes
>American white have the highest iq among the white nations, as well as the highest reading and science pisa scores. How fucking retarded actually are you?
>The most recent PISA results, from 2015, placed the U.S. an unimpressive 38th out of 71 countries in math and 24th in science. Among the 35 members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which sponsors the PISA initiative, the U.S. ranked 30th in math and 19th in science. pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/02/15/u-s-students-internationally-math-science/
Compared to the ancient world those people were basically Neanderthals
Hunter Watson
Get rid of all the niggers and spics. You will see. I was talking about American whites.
Alexander Roberts
>Get rid of all the niggers and spics. You will see. I was talking about American whites. PISA doesn't give a breakdown of performance by different ethnic groups, so you're obviously making shit up that comes from deep inside your rectum. Also, take out Asians and Muricans would be at the bottom of intellectual performance among all developed nations. Why so dumb?
This is by far the saddest happening I've ever witnessed. I love history, engineering, art, and Catholicism. Watching video of the flames and seeing pictures literally like a piece of me was dying, or my heart was being pulled out of my chest. I seriously don't think I'll be this sad when my parents die.
Thanks to her powerful flying buttresses. She did a lot of squats and lunges.
Brayden Edwards
I don't have a source for IQ off hand right now. I believe American White IQ is 102. I also don't know if they include jews in that White score (but if they include jews in the US, then they probably include Jews in all other nations).
As to the pisa scores, the only place the US really struggles is math, which is unfortunate. I think American Whites are 5 or 6th in OECD Pisa scores.
Benjamin Cruz
And no problem, I always enjoy bringing this to people's attention. I have no issue with people making fun of the US. but I want people to know a little about the US before they start with the "Amerifatt, le 56%, Goblina" memes.
Josiah Cox
or maybe it had nothing to do wtih the vaults and shapes and simply because stone doesnt burn
That's a decent green text, although >Plutarch >Greek No.
Ethan Moore
>And no problem, I always enjoy bringing this to people's attention. I have no issue with people making fun of the US. but I want people to know a little about the US before they start with the "Amerifatt, le 56%, Goblina" memes. All fair and good. I enjoy pointing out that as nation, the US performs way worse in education and health than it should, especially considering the wealth and infrastructure in the country. I think the main explanation is the wide divide between rich and poor in the US. The middle class is shrinking, whereas in places like Scandinavia and Australia, the middle class is growing to the point that almost everyone is middle class and quite comfy.
Jayden Wood
The Big Bang theory was made by a Catholic monk you utter fucking bimbo
Parker Peterson
Maybe Trump is right about using a water-bomber on the fireāthe roof would hold up to the water dump.
Angel Jones
No problem. As to the shrinking middle class, it is actually a relatively interesting phenomenon. The middle class in the nation is certainly being burrowed out, it just doesn't mean that they are becoming poor. Most are becoming what I would like to call the petite riches. Those who are coming poor are, in all likelihood (I need to do more research) spics and niggers.
Remember the rule of thumb: If you ever have a question as to why the US is one way or the other, the answer is almost invariable spics and niggers. Or it's jews.
Ethan Gutierrez
>Remember the rule of thumb: If you ever have a question as to why the US is one way or the other, the answer is almost invariable spics and niggers. Or it's jews. The answer is the failure of the proper distribution of wealth and resources that's caused by a deluded notion of meritocracy and ineffectual libertarianism. Identity politics that tries to blame specific ethnic or religious groups is a shallow distraction for people who have trouble thinking about complex problems (which is why such views predominate on Jow Forums).
The Dark ages are part of the middle ages you stupid cunt. They are the early middle ages. The Middle ages span from the fall of Rome in 476 to the fall of Constantinople in 1453.
The are the "middle ages" because it is the time between Antiquity and the Modern era.
Jose Moore
I am not looking into getting into a fight with you, but what you said has no basis in reality. For two reasons primarily. The first is that race is real. The reality of race is most often displayed in the disparity of outcomes. Most of the time government programs and charitable outreach has literally no effect. As to the second point, the notion that the US is a libertarian state is an interesting one, because most libertarians I know would disagree with you. And they would be right to do so. There is no sector of the economy that the state does not have its fingers in. Whether it is strangling that sector, or picking winners and losers, the corporatacracy of the United States is almost entirely a state created program (as it has been and will be in all nations of the world). You seem like a smart enough guy who has be whiled by democratic socialist egalitarianism. I am here to tell you that you have been lied to.
Austin Phillips
>shitposters admitting that they were wrong What is happening?
Parker Hall
He literally wrote in Greek. You're a massive retard.
Bentley King
>race is real. Race is only real when it is used to organize people lives, education, work, healthcare, and geographical distribution. In places that are genuinely multicultural and that don't have a history of slavery and segregation, race is a much smaller factor, just like it is in educated, wealthy parts of cities like London or Melbourne. This is increasingly how race dynamics will play out in the future.
I genuinely think that libertarians are stupid people who struggle to see large-scale, complex social structures like class and who are deluded enough to believe that they are in control of most of the choices they make and outcomes they experience. There's a narrow, poorly though idea of freedom at work here that, when examined, becomes incredible weak and flimsy.
>The Dark ages are part of the middle ages you stupid cunt. No. The Middle Ages start with the Norman Conquest of 1066 or with the rise of troubadour culture with its accompany literature at around the same time period (depending on whether you follow the standard British political history narrative or are more influenced by R.W. Southern's amazing book The Making of the Middle Ages). Do go get yourself a copy of Southern.
What you're calling the Middle Ages is, in the English speaking world, the Anglo-Saxon period or the Dark Ages, though people are searching for new ways of labeling this that involve concepts like the Carolingian renaissance or the Age of Alfred.
Jackson Myers
>What you're calling the Middle Ages Meant to type early Middle Ages.
Carson Howard
Slide that yellow cock down your throat.
Tyler Scott
>be idiot >lap up atheistic lies I bet you like le ebin Vikings as well You mean the library that was burnt down by Julius Caesar, then Aurelian, and then Diocletian resulting in the loss of most of the books requiring them to be reinvented?
William Garcia
OI! Do you have a loicense for that comment!?
Colton Jackson
>firewood can't melt stone bricks but... what if they forgot to plant the pettards on the catacombs below the cathedral?
Not him, but there's almost as much overlap between the so-called "Dark Ages" and Late Antiquity as there is between the "Dark Ages" and the Early Middle Ages. Periodization is kind of difficult, because of how much bias we have to sift through from Renaissance and Enlightenment era cucks vilified the period. These are the people that thought that Gothic was a horrible form of writing invented during the "Dark Ages" and that the beautiful ancient script they redisovered was something from the time of the ancient Romans, when in fact it was Carolingian Script that had been created and standardized by Charlemagne smack dab in the middle of those "Dark Ages". After the initial shock of the Migration period, a lot of Southern Europe recovered fairly quickly from the fall of the WRE. The meme version of Andalusia as this pristine land of light sheltered from the darkness of Christian Europe completely ignores the fact that Visigothic Iberia had a vibrant intellectual scene with Isidore of Seville being perhaps the brightest star. Italy under the Ostrogoths was wealthy and more stable than during the last few years of the WRE, and that only changed because Justinians whore of a wife convinced him not to give General Belisarius enough troops to conquer Italy swiftly resulting in a long and drawn out struggle that devastated the peninsula. Outside of Britain, the "Dark Ages" just weren't all that dark.
