When the commission visited the Prophet in his exile, they were overwhelmed with his wisdom and the verses of the Qur’an he recited to them. Quraysh leaders insulted the Christian delegation for showing sympathy to the Prophet and his family. However, the commission abstained from returning Quraysh’s insult.
