It doesn't matter how much they outnumber us if they can't get their troops over here and they can't feed said troops. They could probably take Darwin with a lot of fighting but there's no way they could make it south without receiving their very own Highway of Death and triggering US involvement.
I would be far more concerned about the possibility of them selling out to the Chinese and acting as a forward base for bombers or even a proper Chinese invasion.
