What's wrong with centrism?

Seems to me that centrism is the a healthy stance to have, considering it preserves my freedom as a distrusting citizen of any government while also not being a total degenerate and upholding my culture and values

The problem in my opinion is that there's nothing overly wrong with having centrist opinions on matters that you're either indifferent to or wholly ignorant. But once you learn the facts or develop an understanding for the issue then it is utterly spineless to maintain the middle ground.
I think the meme about centrism exists because many people seem to think that holding no serious convictions makes them more intelligent than those that do.

centrists are not optimal for the struggle for the time being.
first the right needs to be more shilled
then the left must take power again
then we power struggle for ~5 years
next we further the "polarization"
divide et impera
then we shill for he centrism through a third position movement
and finally we stop honking and gas all the faggots

It's not about being spineless. It's about realizing both sides of the issue and knowing that there is never a perfect solution to any one problem, so the best idea could be a compromise

Centrism can make a lot of sense, provided the person has a deep understanding of both sides of an issue.

There's also the problem that "controversy sells" -- it's tough to drum up interest over a platform of "let's meet in the middle". Much more sexy to have a platform of "let's get those other ones!!!1!!!"

That would really only apply to specific situations, and even then, only in situations where both sides have equal merit, which would be very rare. Maybe I wasn't being overly clear with my post but I was mainly referring to the more 'modern' stance on centrism, whereby Youtube celebs refuse to take a hard stance on everything but socially accepted issues.
Centrism has become painfully attributed with being intelligent, logical and rational...which isn't the case.

In many global issues, and given the state of the world these days the world doesn't need compromise, it doesn't need people willing to wash their hands of hard decisions under the guise of enlightened cooperation.

Centrism means that you compromise on all issues and eventually get nothing that you wanted. It's the boomer ideology.

Centrists are scared to death of being wrong one way or another so they adopt this faggy above-it-all stance. I respect deep left doubleniggers more than centrists.

Having centrist beliefs on a case by case basis is one thing, considering yourself a centrist politically is another. Some things are black and white and claiming not to feel strongly one way or another is spineless. Often times one will claim to be a centrist not because they see both sides and hold no conviction, but rather they are too afraid to speak how they truly feel due to political correctness and being ostracized. They use it as a life jacket to be able to swim in deep waters without drowning.


I'm a centrist on abortion. I'm a Christian who knows it's wrong and doesn't want people aborting kids for their fuckups, but if I knocked up my girlfriend I'd be holding a gun to her head.

All in all though, centrists are just liars.

What would you say is black or white, other than abortion? I consider myself centrist and I am pro-choice, mainly because there are already too many people around.

Centrism is a transitioning period from left to right and right to left. A country can be divided in many sectors, such as international trade, education, health care, ideals etc. Education for all or paid? Ideals or libertarianism? People who say they're centrists know nothing about these sectors, they are just trying to sound smart.

If you look at numbers, this being done by people of all races, and probably black are the ones contributing the least, on accounts of African countries being under developed.
