Yes. The sun never set the entire time I was there. It just did circles in the sky, which did help you a bit because it would look different throughout the day, giving you some sense of time.

Antarctic pyramids are very real, there was one within eyesight of McMurdo on a clear day. Other than that, not really, just rediculous government waster and the NSF trying to keep people from talking about the two guys that died there this season so they could get ahead of the story.
