Driving in VT is more like a "Get in Line" mentality IMO

There is no independent thinking therefore they all follow a long line and caravan in packs in the interstates

The state highways are sometimes frustrating as they loop from town to town making the pace annoying to have to always be aware of different municipalities' speed limits

The DOT does not exist here as far as environmental factors in your Vehicle inspections and is run by the "take it to the garage to get inspected" leaving any number of people to rip you off for the smallest but of rust

Which is the only subsidy these money hungry serpents receive to keep their businesses open

They regularly have a group of loitering and cackling hens at every convenience store when you go to trying to get into a line somewhere to pay for gas

The idea of a manual transmission is not an option in Vermont as it is just too much work for them to actually attempt to have control over their vehicles in the winter

The Winter is even funnier as the "fleet" of automatics have to slow to a mere halt without the 4wd options

So the garages have a "Winter Tire" change out rush, which is another based subsidy they lure the masses into from their identity being warped by the seasons

The weather changes, they spend money, and the tire guy gets his.

The biggest problem in Vermont is not the fact that the roads are akin to a 3rd world country in most cities, its the fact that there is literally nobody to do the work

The crews are left to a minimal budget while the guvna put an Ice Skating Rink in the front lawn of the Statehouse

Here's some things I noticed.

The only towns that are any fun include:
1. Burlington
2. nowhere else..

If you like skiing and hiking and stuff, it's a great place. Otherwise, it's not really all that great for a young adult (20-28)

Plus, there's not a lot of money to go around. You need to have made some money from New York or Cali then move here to live on it! You could make some cash in healthcare, but ultimately it's kinda low. Luckily, there's typically enough space to go around so you won't have to live in a trailer park!

You're right about the get in line. I've done a lot of driving thru VT and that description fits it well. At least on the main roads over the mountains there is passing lanes.
