I joined a black fraternity by mistake back in college. I hastily signed up because their ethos or whatever sounded good to me. I go to initiation and it's like 60 black dudes and me. I felt welcomed honestly and they all sounded like swell guys.
Too bad I have social anxiety and couldn't get myself to meet again.

Joined a fraternity at my university this year. Here are some things you can take away from my experience
1.) most people in fraternities have no idea how to be alone and rely on the presence of others to feel a sense of happiness and self esteem
2.) majority of people aren’t good friends, rather they share a bond about dur were in the same fraternity and therefore “brothers” and therefore have a good relationship
3.) provides a good network of successful people to talk to and exploit
4.) many won’t have your back in reality, and have the same loyalty as strangers. My example being fighting members of another fraternity and sending photos of them on the ground to a group chat of a few members. They go and tell the president and I get in shit.

I did, met a very good group of guys and they are still my only real contacts i keep in touch with out of college 4 years later.

While in the fraternity I learned leadership skills, community service events, net worked with people. All of this helped me land my first job out of school.

If you arent a sperg you should join one. If you are a sperg, joining a fraternity will help you break your shell and become more social. It will most likely be the best decision you ever made
