How can anybody promote mental illness? Is it ignorance or pure indifference that make people willingly ingest a plant that induces madness?
Fun fact: the CB1 receptor that is responsible for the feeling of being high also emulates schizophrenia.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4034083/ >Cannabinoid intoxication can provoke toxic psychoses or symptoms similar to the positive symptoms of schizophrenia >cannabis seems to provoke an amotivational syndrome similar to the negative symptoms of schizophrenia >In humans, mounting evidence shows that CB1 receptor densities are altered in schizophrenia
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3138655/ >Our finding of increased CB1R binding in paranoid SCZ could reflect a greater involvement of the endocannabinoid system in the DLPFC in this subtype of patients with SCZ as may be suggested by their more marked positive thought disorders and delusional symptoms.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4104335/ >We provide evidence that regular cannabis use is associated with gray matter volume reduction in the medial temporal cortex, temporal pole, parahippocampal gyrus, insula, and orbitofrontal cortex; these regions are rich in cannabinoid CB1 receptors and functionally associated with motivational, emotional, and affective processing.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2424288/ >The strongest evidence that cannabis use is a contributory cause of schizophrenia comes from longitudinal studies of large representative samples of the population who have been followed over time to see if cannabis users are at higher risk of developing schizophrenia. >15-year prospective investigation of cannabis use and schizophrenia in 50,465 Swedish conscripts. The study found that those who had tried cannabis by age 18 were 2.4 times more likely to be diagnosed with schizophrenia than those who had not 16 and the risk of this diagnosis increased with the frequency of cannabis use. >27-year follow-up of the Swedish cohort that also found a dose-response relationship between frequency of cannabis use at baseline and risk of schizophrenia during the follow-up. The relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia persisted when the authors statistically controlled for the effects of other drug use and other potential confounding factors, including a history of psychiatric symptoms at baseline. >supported in a three-year longitudinal study of the relationship between self-reported cannabis use and psychosis in a community sample of 4,848 people in the Netherlands >These findings have been replicated in one German and two New Zealand cohort studies.

The issue is before legalization, generations loved the criminality attached to it, thus becoming a law breaking stoner was considerd bad ass. Once it is federally legalized all its cultural signifignance will die. It will become a normal thing. Just getting a $20 on a friday night. The thing that made people turn into total potheads was buying an ounce rather than a small amount so you would not have to see your dealer for a while, but next thing you know you ended up smoking the whole bag because fuck it your bored with a huge bag of weed. Not realizing all the education tools infront of you on the computer or better things to fill time with. It also takes money out of spics and niggers hands and puts money into white owned weed companies.
Doing weed regularly was one of the worst choices I ever made. You may think it has no 'hangover', but it does. It's how it gradually shifts your mind into a state of psychosis without you even realizing it. Disassociation and derealization are absolutely real and if you think weed is harmless you should look them up. Weed effects your sperm count and health. It stops you from learning new things effectively and remembering them. It fucks with your short to mid term memory. It fires off your dopamine receptors that simulate a state in your brain of having achieved something and you feel completely at ease with the world. This is why you are lazy and have no motivation. This is also a part of the psychosis.
The myth it helps you sleep is just that. What it does is: it may help you fall initially to sleep, but it stops you from entering REM sleep which is the most valuable sleep you have. This is why on weed you don't dream. If you don't hit REM sleep your body doesn't sleep properly. You'll always have half a sleep. Over time the lack of dreams and quality of sleep will wreak havoc on your subconscious mind and bodily health. Furthermore, weed effects badly your hormonal system. Especially your thyroid. Hormones are one of the most IMPORTANT things in our body. They regulate pretty much everything. When I was on weed I was loosing hair, beard couldn't grow, was gaining weight, couldn't build muscle and looked sickly all the time. Every month I am off weed I am rolling back the years and looking more like a man and healthy by the day. Hair is even growing back. Feels like a miracle.
Then there's how much money it costs. Shit is fucking expensive and if you are an every day smoker you should be honest with yourself and count how much money you spend a month, multiply that by 12 and then next time you find yourself moaning about how poor you are swiftly remind yourself you are on drugs that take all your money and time.
I feel like my dopamine receptors are fucking fried after 8 years daily use.
I recently quit for two months and I couldn’t enjoy anything and had no energy or motivation.

Bro, i have been losing hair on top and thinning. Haven't been receding for years tho. I believe weed has a huge impact on hair health. I been smoking for 3 years very actively and i can see it on my hair health. My hair looks like shit and i want my thicc hair back. Still hope for me? When do you think THC leaves the hairfollicles? 4 weeks ? 4 months?

This a million times. Im on my 15 day of total abstinence. My life is already so much better. Im actually doing things now, meeting women, maintaining friends hips and doing well genreally. Smoked every day for 7 years.
If you could take a pill that would make you perform 30 percent better cogntively and socially, would you take it? That pill is not smoking at all.

You just have low test. I smoke daily and my hair is full

Noticing big results now and it's been 4 months. Weed fucks with your hormones if you have a predisposition to weak hormone changes especially. Coffee, tobacco and alcohol do the same so if you are on those regularly. I'd be careful with those. I'm following most of this guy's tips and have to say amazing results so far ( youtu.be/5_16NVJS_9k ). I was on propecia for 3 years and started to feel like it was giving me depression and destroying my interest in women. 4 months later no shedding or loss of hair, but more growth and slow but steady regain of my mojo. Feels great dude.
Some people are effected by it, some are not. It's a genetic thing. Balding seems more like a genetic inclination than a eventuality. The inclination pressure points are: hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, bad diet, not working out. All that shit. See video above
