I'm '84 which is millennial according to some sources, gen x according to Harvard's breakdown. Either way I think boomers have some good points, but seem incapable of recognizing their own flaws. I was lucky in that my boomer father is a very religious, traditional (trad Catholic) paleocon type. He raised us well and never valued money, although he works hard himself. He always valued time with family, meals together, Church, and community. I've come to the conclusion that this was very rare as I read comments on 4 Chan and other places. With that said, as a generation boomers did fail their kids in that they never recognized the Jew. They fell for the patriot meme, endless war and adventurism despite very few of them ever deploying to war. They bought Zionism hook line and sinker. They never questioned the Federal Reserve (save Ron Paul, who got 100% of his support from Gen X and millennials) and really had a very "Protestant work ethic for its own sake" consumerist mindset, with little to no regard for community, tradition, and roots. With little exception they are the generation that squandered their birthright. I was lucky, but I feel for my peers who were not.
