It's actually shocking sitting through those classes. Everything you were told was either a bold faced lie, or historians managed to take facts and twist them in a way that justified anything we did. There is no such thing as a war crime. The easier we make war to declare, the more costly it's consequences. There must be strong incentives(the threat of total, unrestricted warfare against your country) to deter fighting in the first place. It must be an absolute last resort option.
