We need someone to plaster posters around. Subtle Pride posters around a college campus, watch them REEEE when they try to explain why the Rainbow Pride posters they praised had to be torn down. GOD i would love to see them crying on CNN!!!!
Im in romania , quite a homophobic place (not syria levels of anti-homo) , at best people we say the equvalent of "what is this gay shit doing at my school" and at worst do nothign about it
This will never work. Things like this worked in the past because we were doing it with things that were otherwise innocuous (the "ok" hand gesture, for instance). it worked because we were doing it with subtle things.
The rainbow is too widespread and its meaning to too well known. If this movement ever gets noticed, it will be called out instantly. I mean the rainbow is everywhere, it's painted on the goddamn sidewalk where I live. It's on road crossings and benches and shit. This will never work.

It won't matter if it gets called out, if we use the flag it becomes our symbol, the swastika existed before Hitler but now it's nearly inseparable from Nazism, pepe existed before the "Alt-right" but now they too are nearly synonymous, and even if the group currently using the symbol don't want it used that way it doesn't matter racists and non racists use the Confederate battle flag and most normies associate it with racists, if we keep at this eventually the pride flag will be the same, they'll think is this meant to stand for racism or something else.
