Not only is Trudeau's government implicated in two major trials (Mark Norman's scapegoating and interference in SNC's trial), but Canada's leftist premiers
(provincial leaders of the governing parties) are falling- and their rightist replacements aren't friendly towards Trudeau's taxing of carbon emissions.
During Trudeau's tenure (Nov 2015 - Oct 2019):
1. British Columbia
a. Jul/2017: British Columbia re-elected the NDP. But BC is usually cucked, so no surprise.
b. Carbon Tax: They have it- but they don't use as much fuel, neither for heating nor for agriculture, as the rest of Canada.
2. Alberta
a. Apr/2019 : Alberta's NDP was replaced by the United Conservative Party (UCP), whose leader said, in a public speech, that he wants to investigate the Tides and Suzuki foundations for their actions opposing Alberta's oil industry.
b. Carbon Tax: UCP says they'll revoke it when they assume office.
3. Saskatchewan
a. Jan/2018: Saskatchewan re-elected the conservative Saskatchewan Party (SP).
b. Carbon Tax: Saskatchewan was forced, by the feds, to pay a carbon tax. Saskatchewan took the feds to court, and the trial concluded in Feb- the decision will likely come after Ontario's trial, against the government, concludes.
4. Manitoba
a. Nov/2016: Manitoba re-elected the Progressive Conservatives (PC).
b. Manitoba let the feds impose their own carbon tax, but become enraged when Quebec businesses recieved exemptions that Manitoba businesses did not.
Manitoba intervened in Saskatchewan's trial, in support of Saskatchewan.
5. Quebec
a. Nov/2018: Quebec elected the Coalition Avenir Quebec (CAQ) (right wing), replacing the Liberal party.
b. Carbon Tax: They let the federal government impose a carbon tax on Quebec- but Quebec industry holds many exemptions.
