And no... not really. At least not that I've ever run into. Most evangelicals that support Israel do so unironically. Some just like Jews because they consider Jews to be God's people, and some because they believe that they will be blessed for blessing Jews. A fair amount of evangelicals support Israel because the sooner they build that temple, the sooner the antichrist can defile it and this whole shitshow can get started and Jesus can come back.

Which is to say: Most evangelicals who favor supporting Israel in any form of accelerationist way are doing so because they like Jews and want Jesus to rule on the earth. The one thing that evangelicals DO NOT think about is the absolute CERTAINTY that the Jews will turn on Christians and persecute them in the last days, and that the Jews still have the 'Time of Jacob's trouble' yet in their future.

What can I say? Everybody has their blind spots. The fact that the Jews occupy the space of "enemies of the gospel" and "beloved on account of the fathers" confuses modern evangelicals.
