The Number is less then 300million because kids dont count. Also i doubt criminals in lockup would benifit either, Also from what i heard it wont over lap with current benifits so if your already getting benifits above or equal to 1000$ you wont get anything.
Giving out the money is only an issue if the people who get it dont spend it. lets say we are looking at 250,000,000 people, who get 1000$ month. thats 2.5Trillion Dollars a month. we can do that as a nation. Most people will end up spending all that 1000 that month. And if we treat it like foodstamps and say they have to use a card to spend the money, and that the limit can never go over 1000, then they cant horde the money. So if you dont spend your 1k in may you dont suddenly have an extra 1k in june. not sure if that last part is in his plan but it would be the smart way to go about it. Effectivly if done like that, then it would be like the US put away 2.5T dollers in lock up at any given time. Would never need to go over that. because the money that gets used would filter its way back to them anyway
