It's not a recent thing. It's only now being reported acknowledged with the death of traditional media. People have always been overwhelmingly against it, just look at the "KÖR UT DEM!" poll done by Expressen, which was the only poll done on immigration and resulted in something like 92% against it. And this was in the 90's when the invasion was considerably less severe.
Problem is, it was never truly up to us. The media is overwhelmingly owned by jewish publisher Bonnier, with a couple of publications owned by various banks. This is relevant because these banks have nothing but profit in importing people from nations without established banking systems into nations like Sweden, which has had a housing crisis since the 90's, and thus massive loans are needed for housing, which directly benefits the banks, and politicians. A poll from 2010 or somewhere around that time showed that an average of 60% or so of politicians across all parties owned housing, and thus directly profit from this as well.
Add to this the fact that things like the EU and UN allow the government to bypass the constitution with "agreements" and you've now got a political establishment supported by a media which has become more like a secret police than something to combat corruption, as they claim their purpose is, which can policy launder whatever laws they want in regardless of actual votes.
I won't even go into things like pic related, and the total lack of private votes in Sweden. Or the fact that the lack of privacy is supported by (((certain people))) who will tell you that a private vote does exist if you "just take all the ballots lol" whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that certain parties' ballots regularly go missing.
tl;dr - If you buy into the "lol cucks voted for it" narrative you are, and always will be, a goy and will never see the reality of the sham that is democracy. Words like "demokratur" exist for a reason.
