Same here. Here's the thing, I had a shit life growing up. I had friends who went to school here, like me poor and a fucked up family. I look at it this way, all that aside I'm grateful for being able to grow up in the 90s and early 2000s, was really the last decient time. I look at the shit parents and kids have to deal with nowadays and count my blessings. I get to live my life on my own terms and age gracefully. I look back at the friends I had and often wonder what happened to em. Hell, I often think most kids nowadays have a harder time making friends, seems like everyone is just fucked up anymore.

Something else, I still remember playing outside, so many parents are so paranoid something bad is going to happpen they make their kids stay inside. Hell, even in the nicer parts of town here I almost never see kids outside. My theory is that society has too many adults like me who grew up as latchkey kids. No one gave a shit about us so yep, that's how we view society and kids now. I see and hear people bitch about the likes of me, yet they never seem to stop and consider how society had a hand in creating us. We do make our own monsters...

No respect for any authority, because of their shitty parents and shitty laws that leave the schools essentially powerless. Some kids are just born bad, or have psychological problems, but it seems when we have these school shootings, bullying is usually the root. Think what would bother me if I was a parent, even if I had a perfect child, what kinds of kids would he be around at school? Millenial parents are pretty bad, I thought they were bad when I was going to school, they are actually worse than boomers (I think...). Anymore most kids aren't planned, the parents load em up on drugs to dull them down and you have to wonder if their walking mass of mental problems will snap someday while your kid is in class with them.

I won't go near kids for that reason. See, this is one of the reasons why the USA is becoming one of the more expensive places to raise kids in the west, society has degraded so much since 1999. Look at the yearbook photo, everyone is dressed so much more wholesomely. When I was homeschooled I could get through everything I needed each given day in about 3-4 hours. With the internet those results could be replicated even if parents didn't have time to spare to teach their kids. Slower-learners could go at their own pace and get tutors taken from the preexisting, obsolescent teaching staff
