The guy is a native English speaker who's spent his entire life in academia and he still fucks up it's and its. He's on the verge of tears all the time. He had months to prep for the Zizek debate (a debate being advertised as like the duel of the century) and all he did was read the fucking Communist Manifesto. The fact that this guy is the most prominent right-wing intellectual in North America and has a global, cult-like following of millions is terrifying.

Non globcapitalist right wing positions are a punishable offence at these institutions. There are no open right wing intellectuals, just yesterdays leftists, since intelligent right wingers can find alternative methods of spreading their ideas which don't put their careers at risk. Nobody who can think for themselves is dissuaded by the "absence" of nationalist thinkers at these institutions, because people who can think for themselves don't need to outsource their thinking to others. The followers of these pop intellectuals aren't looking for arguments, or ideas, they're looking for faces and personalities. If there were no intelligent figures on the nationalist right, there would be no need for the regulations preventing them from holding positions at the institutions, as their lack of intellect would act as a filter in and of itself.

I personally consider "right wing" to refer to positions informed by a belief in some form of natural law that transcends human agency. This basically covers everything that normalfags consider to be right wing, thus no

It is /exactly/ the same line of thought, and it is leading us to exactly the same destination. Tribalism (like self interest) is part of the human condition and the only way they will get what they want is to engineer a "new man", which will always create more death, destruction and unaccountability than tribalism (or self interest) generates naturally.
