and on 13th paragraph: >It was not clear if Hopkins was a member of the armed group calling themselves the United Constitutional Patriots. The FBI did not mention anything about an armed group, and the state attorney general’s office did not specify a group.
so which one is?

The Sri Lanka massacre won't get half the media attention as Christchurch.

I may not be a all-day every-day baker, but I'm the fastest pinch baker in the land.

Pretty sure reddit is some kind of branch of DARPA at this point.
Thomas Howard
Discord tranny kosher baking has been known about for years, what are you rambling about?
Asher Perry
yeah maybe, I'm just so used to Sri Lanka's dying by the hundreds of thousands in tsunamis or through some kind of blood diarrhea illness or something. I mean, yeah if they aren't white then I guess I really have no reason what so ever to care.

>"they don't know about how a car works" >Of course we know about the little elf under the hood that feeds the coal furnace that makes the car go
With current-day technology (and WIP rockets whose only question is when they'll go into operation, not if they'll go into operation), we can create a magnetic shield that obscures Mars' atmosphere from the influence of the solar wind.
The result? Without the influence of the solar wind, the planet's atmosphere will approach a new equilibrium. Mars doesn't have much volcanic activity, but it does have volcanic outgassing; this will build the atmosphere's thickness surprisingly fast to a secondary point, where the surface temperature is 4C/7F warmer than normal. That in turn will start to cause the polar caps to sublimate, then melt. In under a century, this will re-liquefy the planet's polar caps' water ice and restore the 1/7th of Mars' oceans' maximum extent. All just by keeping the atmosphere from being blown away.
no i like that they used bombs, bombs are always more exciting that guns I think it's just the near tropic shitskin nature of the victims that makes me yawn about this one

well I can see the benefit of you continuing to spread this misinfo, carry on

let's remember that Trump degraded passover at the white house to a pic or a vid but killed that Obama legacy of doing a dinner on the day of passover
More visually, we can go from the far left planet to the center left planet in under 100 years with a single engineering project. The others will take longer, just because we're going to need to get the gasses and water by moving and burning up asteroids and comets in Mars' atmosphere. That will take much more engineering skill and just plain time waiting for those rocks to transit.
I've a ticket to see infinite onion works early, I'll try to post a spoilery enough take here so it can be used for nefarious purposes on twatter and the like (reddit especially)
Living in space has an interesting complication: anyone not intelligent enough, resourceful enough, or cautious enough will die in very short order and probably take everyone around them with them. Space selects for these traits very aggressively.
Elijah Lee
Read, monsieur, read! >In under a century, this will re-liquefy the planet's polar caps' water ice and restore the 1/7th of Mars' oceans' maximum extent.
Yeah I got more faith in reincarnation than I do into >lol dude they can keep your brain alive in a jar stuff
Jonathan Clark
I got in a conversation once with a person who's religion was basically "Oh at some point someone will invent a time machine then upload everyone from the past's brains into an ultracomputer" that was a new take
Jonathan White
This is also a reason to have a well-developed Space Force around Earth: enough military assets in Earth orbit and on the Moon would be capable of denying access to the broader solar system to anyone trying to launch from Earth.
there are leftist cucks that would try to stop humanity from spreading because we'd destroy the environment or something
Josiah Jones
Yeah I kinda miss them

shorter than that, depends on how many trees you're willing to plant and how much water you have access to.

Time machines always bummed me out because although I can see machines that take you forward in time, I just have no idea how a universal "rewind" would work.
Noah Hall
>I just have no idea how a universal "rewind" would work. it doesn't best you can do is affect causality.

"Harry you know the rules, you fuck an African, you become an African" >"b-but Grandma!!" "fuck off Harry I don't want to hear it, you ungrateful shit"
And all those groups have managed so far is burn down a few car dealerships' lots. The first phase terraformed Mars is at best a tundra world with sparse patches of larger plants in the deepest, highest-pressure areas at the equator. The plants still need to be able to perform gas exchange, otherwise it's like trying to grow an oak above the tree line on a mountain.
Owen Green
Light skinned people will be the only space travellers. Out past Mars orbit niggers can't metabolize enough Vitamin D to survive, and they're lactose intolerant. They'd always be one special fortified orange juice ration away from complete metabolic collapse. Whites, non-Muslim (no self detonation risks) light skinned sandlanders, and northeast Asians will be the only ones in deep space unless we somehow develop Star Trek technology and the risks associated with poor metabolic fitness for deep space become marginal.
I'm not talking about brains in jars or mind uploading, I am talking about fighting ageing through medical procedures, there's a whole entire new field that has opened up recently and even google has a special firm unto it
Jordan Bell
The usual explanation is if travel backwards was going to happen, its influence on present events will never be able to undo those present events. Causality always wins, and is unchangeable.
Hunter Collins
World War 3 will feature heavy use of chemical agents similar to the Iran-Iraq war
If pressed, physicists usually admit their insistence on no FTL and no time travel is because they have no idea of how to deal with temporally disconnected cause and event.
Joseph Morgan
The brains in jars was hyperbole to the horrifying living corpse condition for many elderly in this age of "medical procedures that keep you alive" We'll see what they come out with, but I can only imagine it won't be pretty. Any time humans try to play god like that, it isn't pretty.
Michael Diaz
Mars' real problem is not having stable dynamo (which is a function of poles in harmony, a thing science still doesn't understand) step one should be pole charging, once that's done atmosphere follows, once you have atmosphere, climate is easily manipulated
Connor Price
Iran-Iraq war was metal >Enemy advancing through the marshes >run electrical cables into the water, electrocute them all >Iran knows human wave tactics don't work, admits it in meetings >New strategy: More human waves with willing martyrs, extra points if you're a high school student or old man with white hair!
Except we found a shortcut around that: Sure, it would be more useful if the planet could sustain its own field, but that's well beyond current science, engineering, and geological knowledge.
Michael Anderson
The point is: your only angle for "past" travel (the only time you will ever have or experience is "now") is to attack the causality itself.
Adrian Moore
oh.

No one ever has or should. Millions of people die in some parts of the world and people either never hear or forget quickly because it doesn't matter.
I heard incredible stories from people there at the time. Mullahs would employ children to clear minefields with promises that god has made them immune to death.
