This is a prayer thread, to pray for the tragic loss of life in Sri Lanka. Condolences to my Christian brothers and sisters who have lost their lives. All my brothers and sisters of any religion are welcome here to offer their prayers for the families of the deceased, to give them strength and pray for survivors to make it through. No offensive comments are welcome here, have respect for the dead and the suffering they have just experienced.

Heavenly father we pray for the families of the victims of this tragic event first and foremost. Please give them strength to grieve effectively and strength to move on thereafter. Please help spread the joy that those victims' lives brought to their friends and family.
Help us to expel the root cause of this evil through our hearts, with a balanced mind and warm soul. We must not kill or offend for to do so would be a negative reflection on what is in our own hearts; please remind my brothers and sisters on pol of this fact.
