And of course, lots of people honking as they drove by like, "thanks!" because they innocently couldn't see through the fact that the sign kids were either a) only doing it for community service cuz they got busted doing something bad, b) were doing it to combat that old dude that's usually sitting there with the "Jesus Loves You" sign or they were simply trying to be progressive faggots.

Is it??? That's so saddening to hear. Merrimack always seemed like the undiscovered gem to me in Hillsborough county. Reasonably affordable, good place to raise a family, enough shopping to provide you everything you need, close enough to Nashua or Manch where if you need to go to a mall, it's not too far a drive. Fuck, Nashua & Manch's shitty influence is creeping in? That sucks.
Also, why the fuck do they call Manchester "ManchVegas?" There is absolutely nothing about that city that is comparable to Las Vegas at all.

How old are you? It's funny cuz in in the 80s it was a total dump. Not really violent or anything but just shitty and run down. Then in the late 90s they started improving it and did a wonderful job. Now, yes, I agree, overall it's still "nice" looking but you see more & more homeless wondering around and it's fucking annoying. I'm in my mid 20s now. I am the same. Although I no longer live there, it is still my home so I feel some sort of kinship to the bums so I can't be mean to them. The problem is more recently a lot of them are people who refuse to get a job and are actually beggars who drive in from Mass. to beg in various places through Nashua and Merrimack. When I visit home it gets increasingly hard to not be a complete ass to these people as I feel they're destroying my home.

I agree. Lewiston was a decent city but it died after the mills died. Now it's just a corrupt shithole ( Local politics & PD ) and the Catholic Charities (from Mass) uses it as a dumping ground while they get kickbacks from the govt.
