I converted to Judaism and I'm starting to regret it. AMA.
I won't take a photo to avoid doxxing, but I have a Koren siddur in front of me and several masechtot at arms reach. Feel free to ask for verification.
Here are some Iron Pills, since I haven't seen it on Jow Forums in a while.
I was raised LDS/Mormon. Father was in church leadership and l left when I was almost 20. I was devout, but could not get over the church's bullshit. I converted to Judaism because I appreciated it's sense of God, ritual, and religious worldview regarding obligation and discipline.
Even though I left the LDS church, I still thank it for instilling in me a solid sense of morals and community service. The Mormon church, unironically, seeks to create honest men. Its beliefs are batshit, but the structure is good.
Right here, aver you wanted to give a sense of true spirituality to your people, right? I recommend that you look for the Nubian dynasty of Egypt, that you as an African of the East could be interested
David Nelson
And why? As much as Jews dislike goyim, they hate other Jews more. This isn't a smokescreen or pilpul -- for example a Zionist Jews hates, above all, a Jew that questions Zionism.
Christopher White
The incessant complaining, the idolatry of Zionism, rabbis scamming Jews as a matter of course... It's a lot.
Jace King
>I appreciated it's sense of God WTF does this drivel mean? There has never been any credible account of any magic god ever seen, heard, or ever detected at any location on Earth or in space throughout all of history ever.
Ryan Phillips
I've posted about this on Jow Forums MONTHS ago, so you might recognize me.
I"m not interested in WE WUZZZZery. Despite my frustrations with religion, I still work to seek and love God with all my might. The traditionalism of Evola appeals to me.
Henry Green
>And why? As much as Jews dislike goyim, they hate other Jews more. This isn't a smokescreen or pilpul -- for example a Zionist Jews hates, above all, a Jew that questions Zionism. They hated you? It must be difficult to join a group of people and be forced to say that they are superior to the rest of your family that is not Jewish
Nathaniel Wood
Take the pantheism and panentheism pills user.
If you need something more concrete, look into an orthodox Christianity. Despite my conversion, I think that Jesus was pretty based and red-pilled. And he was right about the Pharisees. If only you knew how bad things were.
Isaac King
>They hated you?
I wasn't only referring to myself but yes, for some values of 'hate'. I have too much dignity to participate in this religion as a perpetual third-class citizen. I'm tired of the humiliation, and I think I've only gotten this far because I pushed and disciplined myself.
It's a fucking shame too, because I think the religion is beautiful. I'm not the only convert that thinks that "Judaism is wasted on the Jews".
Isaiah Martinez
XXV Dynasty of Egypt is not exactly we wuz, they teach you when they make you study the genealogy of the pharaohs of Egypt in the historical branch of anthropology >I still work to seek and love God with all my might. The traditionalism of Evola appeals to me. What are you going to do then? Go to a more philosophical religion as Julius Evola proposed? It seemed to feel a great admiration for Buddhism although it never convert
Sebastian Thompson
I'm 100% of West African descent.
> What are you going to do then? I'm still figuring it out. I can either stay deeply committed and become a sort of iron-pilled Traditionalist Jew that tries to 'uncuck' the religion. You'll find that the Jewish tradition is FULL of these folks, the Prophets.
Importantly, I know there are many Jews that agree with me about how fucked up the community is. I discuss Traditionalist ideas with these folks (a la Evola) and even the Lefty types are on board. I'm pretty sure that if I were to dedicate myself to that effort that I'd find *some* success.
Funnily enough the rabbis diminished the authority of the Prophets (i.e. people who literally spoke to God) in favor of their own rulings. Even more hilariously, modern-day Zionism is just proving again that Jews are not capable of creating a sustainable state.
Another "why": In the conflict between Jacob and Esau, I'm realizing that Esau should not have shown mercy to Jacob. Jacob and his mother were conniving little bitches and Esau had every right to punish their effeminate sneaky bullshit.
Tyler Jenkins
Judaism is plenty philosophical. I love the ritual and worldview. The community and Zionism is what I have problems with.
Charles Sanchez
Funnily enough, the Jewish community is being undermined by the "rule of quantity over quality" and the idea that the skills that lead to material success should also guide the community's metaphysical/nonmaterial pursuits. The community has been hollowed out by wealthy donors and Zionism.
Zionism is open idolatry and we know how that ends.
David Roberts
a fucking wyatt mann here; I have an Orthodox Jewish friend, a rabbi in all but title(probably is that in title by now--I don't really ask him about his personal shit,) and I have to agree that their methods of education are fucking spot-on for making an intelligent person, but the exact proscriptions, well, he and I both came to the conclusion that the zioniggers are just begging for the ovens, at this point.
Yeah, a lot of Jewishness is effeminate poisoner-tier shit.
I say stick with it if you can, raise your kids right, and be the change you want to see. Also, encourage your fellow trim-back to call out the zioniggers and rothschild-types. One of the biggest problems I have with kikes is their abject refusal to root out the poison in their own communities, while whinging endlessly about the poisons in others.
Logan Gray
Well take into account that the Jewish priesthood was erased from the map, the Romans took care of that. Without having a voice in this world for God, the Jews created the first rabbinate with the authorization of Emperor Hadrian. At this point it is when oral tradition stops being important than writing. There was not a group of Jews whose maximum was the torah? If it were for philosophy I would prefer to follow the Neoplatonism of Plotinus and join a community like Sautrnaleius and Nova Roma. They even open temples to pray and dress according to the orders dictated by the Gods in the Aeneid. But of course it is a Roman religion and it is difficult for you to be accepted. It is like Zoroastrianism, which also has a very long list of prophets from 5200 to Zoroaster a line of kings chosen by God and waiting for a kind of messiah. But it is also very difficult for you to be accepted even more difficult than in Judaism
Jackson Turner
> refusal to root out the poison in their own communities
The problem is that the good-hearted Jews are outgunned by the toxic culture in the community, and the $$$ the shitty people have to spend. The shilling and propaganda you see here on Jow Forums is also directed inwards towards other Jews -- the worst elements of the community do whatever they can to buy influence and manufacture consent. Too many good Jews are tired of the bullshit and simply "check out" in order to take care of their own psyches and their families. A redpill for me was realizing how terribly the Jews who acted with integrity and kindness are treated within the community.
Abraham bitched out and let Sarah condemn Hagar and Ishmael to death. Jacob and Rebecca conspired against Esau REPEATEDLY, and Isaac was a bitch and passively let it happen.
What does it mean to have these men as role models? A sneaky bitch and a sneaky trickster?
James Carter
Atah yehudi?
I'm FINE with the idea of Rabbinic Judaism being distinct from the First- and Second-Temple Judaism. But having studied the Talmud and observed 21st century Jewish life, I'm concerned with how the role of the Prophets has been undermined in favor of the post-Temple rabbis.
AND TO BE CLEAR the Prophets would have called Zionism idolatry. Full stop. Today's Zionists would treat the Prophets as enemy combatants.
Dylan Myers
Another red pill is how this rivalry between Jews is Muslims can be attributed to Abraham abandoning a child he promised to care for.
Matthew Miller
>What does it mean to have these men as role models? A sneaky bitch and a sneaky trickster? For you chose the wrong religion, the only religion that occurs to me, presents its heroes, kings and prophets in a heroic and just way is Zoroastrianism. Dodecaism also enters the list with the difference that also presents them with a halo of melancholy and subjugation to fate.
Caleb Reed
I've yet to find a church group more bull shit than the LDS/Mormon church. True, I owe my sense of morality and service to their teachings, but it's the reason why I left and went the judaic route. To this day I cringe when I hear those white underwear wearing fucks say we are similar.
Dad's side is jewish mostly, so it wasn't hard to convert to judaism.
James Reyes
Another redpill is realizing that the "Jewish invention of monotheism" is overstated.
Based monotheism is "we're all united by the same God" (e.g. perennialist or pantheist thought)
Degenerate monotheism is "my God rules over your Gods". This is the bullshit iron-age style theology of the early Israelites. The Torah (Pentateuch) is hardly monotheistic, imo.
Angel Ward
The LDS is full of shit, but to this day I will trust a random Mormon over a random Jew or random atheist. Devout Mormons are deeply trustworthy and earnest. Honestly, I think those qualities are part of why I'm having a hard time -- it's anti-Jacob.
And to be clear, there are a LOT of similarities between the LDS and Jews (with the former mimicking the latter). For instance, Mormon garments are invocative of the tallit katan.
And be honest with yourself, Mormon cosmology is tamer than Kabbalah.
Nolan Jenkins
I think that #basedChristianity probably fits the bill. Maybe Hinduism and Buddhism, but I don't know enough at this point.
It feels bad to have a belief system predicated on the belief that one can out-lawyer God. It's such nonsense.
Jacob Butler
Relevant to our interests.
Aiden Wood
My father is, I am not. Honestly dogmatic religions matter to me little or nothing I'm FINE with the idea of Rabbinic Judaism being distinct from the First- and Second-Temple Judaism. But having studied the Talmud and observed 21st century Jewish life, I'm concerned with how the role of the Prophets has been undermined in favor of the post-Temple rabbis. Take into account that religion is a means of control, the only people who did not see religion as a means of control are the Greeks, there is that the Greek religion was not really organized. If we lose the line of prophets and priests, someone has to be in charge; and if that someone has to undermine the power of others to stay in power he will
Ian Parker
Just seek Christ and him alone. I would check this guy out, his insights in the Bible and with him being a jew that walked from what you are in and just seeking Jesus Christ alone might help you land on your feet. So many people are going to spirituality die because of religion. I hope that helps but it is late.
>Buddhism Gautama have not been precisely the most moral people in the world. They had the habit of making lacerations with whip and waiting for the person to bleed to death >basedChristianity probably fits the bill There are still people who are not exactly strong as Pedro. I do not even tell Saul literally the whole book of Romans is a cultural attack against the traditions of Rome >Hinduism Ni pajolera idea
Nolan Cook
> Take into account that religion is a means of control
This is part of my regret and you're spot on.
I'm willing to submit to God and the Universe and I see that as an honorable, masculine impulse. I'm not willing to submit to rabbis seeking to wield power over their communities by any means necessary, nor to their legalistic bullshit.
> If we lose the line of prophets and priests, someone has to be in charge; I think this is a false dichotomy. We can have new authority without flippantly disregarding the Prophets. IMO part of why the Prophets are disregarded is because they agree that Zionism and globalization are bullshit false gods.
Carson Martinez
How was your seder OP?
Tyler Johnson
I think Jesus of Nazareth was world-historical and had a connection to the Divine. I will not elevate him to 'Christ' however.
Adrian King
Pleasant, B'H. Other holidays have been miserable though. Chag and shabbat really make the flaws and merits of religious communities REALLY clear.
Also, when are we getting rid of 2-day chag?
Nathan Barnes
why?
Justin Ward
7/?
Another red pill: There is no reason for nonJews and nonMuslims to get circumcised. I'm looking at you, America.
>I think this is a false dichotomy. We can have new authority without flippantly disregarding the Prophets. And what authority do you propose? One that does not depend on great rabbies? If you do not want to fall into the system that you are currently living you would have to decentralize religion, remember that in the time of Jesus with the Sanhedrin still in power had already begun to corrupt the religion with the Pharisees.
Juan Diaz
Hint: Israel is an ethnostate that has forsaken tradition, and God.
At least fascist states pretend to be subordinate to God.
Eli Brooks
>world-historical Daily reminder that the only references to Jesus are always dependent on his followers. -They call themselves Christians and follow a certain Jesus. - Apparently his religion is the one that started with a man in Galilee. No reference to the existence of Jesus, make reference to the person that Christians worship
Nathaniel Collins
What's been making other holidays miserable?
>Also, when are we getting rid of 2-day chag?
When Moshiach comes or when you make Aliyah.
Jaxon Foster
> you would have to decentralize religion
I partcipate in independent minyanim whenever possible. I agree entirely, but it takes every Jew taking the time to contribute to the community. And the big donors have fostered a sense of laziness and entitlement among Jews vis-a-vis involvement in Jewish community.
I'd be fine with the Pharisees and their descendants if it weren't for the open hypocrisy of the leaders. There are too many good souls being manipulated.
Easton Gonzalez
> What's been making other holidays miserable? Difficult yidn. In a beautiful way, chag and shabbat reminds you that the quality of your life is dictated by the quality of the people around you. Unfortunately, chag exposes the fact that I've hard a hard time finding a good group of people to pass the time with. And ofc it's harder to distract yourself.
Angel Murphy
> When Moshiach comes or when you make Aliyah.
Israel doesn't consider gerim eligible for aliyah, in the general case. It doesn't help at ALL that I"m black.
Xavier Morales
You will not succeed, whether you want it or not, the privilege of being Jewish and enjoying an influential community will prevent it from becoming a reality.
Anthony Garcia
This post was unclear, can you explain?
Carson Brooks
Curious how that system works, I do not practice Judaism, I do not consider myself a Jew and only my father is Jewish. I would be allowed to do alijah. Meanwhile, another person who probably practices religion and considers himself a Jew will not be allowed in most cases, curious
Anthony Perry
The interior ministry has stated clearly (via a supreme court case) that they're not interested in olim without Jewish heritage. This is the case even if you've observant Orthodox convert.
Jacob Cruz
While belonging to the Jewish community gives you privileges, you can not decentralize the religion and have a new leader
Jonathan Foster
you're a kike fuck off
Daniel Diaz
It is rare, they take ethnostate measures, but they also import an average of 100 Ethiopian Jews per month.
Lucas Cruz
Nop, my mother is not Jewish that means I'm not Jewish
Isaiah Gomez
I think we're talking past each other. Independent and traditional minyanim are still bound together by adhering to the same tradition. For most intents and purposes the canon is closed and small-o orthodox (i.e. Orthodox and hardcore Trad-Egal) are united by a single practice. I'm totally disregarding Reform Jews here.
Zachary Brooks
100 is nothing
The State of Israel uses the Nuremberg laws to determine Jewish identity, not halacha. I hope the problem here is obvious.
Jaxson Nelson
Wow, an edgy atheist. I've never seen that before.
Cooper Powell
As a Jew I can confirm this is absolutely true
Nathaniel Young
Clearly the problem is obvious, probably the "religious" ethno-state ends up filled with atheists who do not give two cents for religion But let's go like I do not care what the halaja or Israel consider to be Jewish, I'm not a Jew
Leo Cox
What kind of leader do you propose? What kind of leader do you propose? There is no Sanhedrin to determine who speaks for God and who not
Isaac Sanders
Can you explain this post? I think there's something worth understanding here. Use spanish if that's easier
Luke Ortiz
I'm not proposing a Jew-Pope or an exilarch. I'm proposing that Jews take responsibility for learning the tradition and making their own choices instead of this slavish devotion to rabbis you see in the community.
Bentley Moore
>You will not succeed, whether you want it or not, the privilege of being Jewish and enjoying an influential community will prevent it from becoming a reality. Basically, you can not change a system that most Jews perceive as successful for their communities
Adam Cox
You know, that's true. For all my problems with the frum Jewish community as a whole, I love my neighbors. My immediate community makes it worth it.
I'm really annoyed by the current administion's policy. A religious christian convert with a Jewish mother will be welcomed and settled, while a religious ger tzedek won't be.
I feel more religious Jews is the last thing Bibi wants.
Landon Rogers
> I feel more religious Jews is the last thing Bibi wants.
Bibi is King Nigger. He is the face of international Zionism.
>male >converted to judaism thats not how it works
Jordan Rivera
I see. American Judaism, other than the Orthodox, is fucking dying out though. Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist Judaism etc are NOT successful.
Connor Gonzalez
To channel Oswald Spengler, every Jew should be Philosopher-King-Farmer-Warrior.
Robert Nelson
>Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist Judaism etc are NOT successful. Clenched sects are destined to collapse, ask to Protestantism
Wyatt Stewart
And to expand here: the system currently works for the wealthy donors, but it's driving out actual Jews and reduces the quality of involvement for those who remain. It's a classic Evola-Guenon's "rule of quantity/material over quality/immaterial". This is degenerative, and we have a clear example here that it slowly drains communities.
Nicholas Roberts
The more a Jew learns the talmud and traditions, the more he's reminded he's not supposed to make religious decisions for himself.
Lincoln Bell
For me, the majority of Jews remained locked in the caste of merchants.
Elijah Wood
>fatty meat bad >vegetable oils good
this is bluepilled as fuck
Noah Bennett
Not every religious decision requires a posek. Of course one should seek a learned authority on some issues, but are you really denying that some religious communities cede their agency COMPLETELY to their rabbis? Are you really denying the phenomenon of "rabbinic infallibility" that has cropped up (and is weirdly reminiscent of papal infallibility)?
This. 10000% this. I know people in an old Jewish community of mine that would deride most Jews as being "greedy merchant-class Jews" with no sense of higher pursuits and who shouldn't be trusted to make decisions on matters of the spirit or art. Unfortunately, these merchant-class Jews are the primary ones sending their kids into the (non-ortho) rabbinate. And it fucking shows.
Chase Ramirez
Good for Evola it is not necessary that everyone has the 3 stages of the soul. Remember that evola posed that only the ruling caste should possess the spiritual stage of the soul (patricians, samurais, ancionas). But you're right, Evola did not want the mass to be a bunch of boob people either
Aiden Diaz
The guide literally mentions beef tallow as a source of fat. I can't imagine being this much of a brainlet.
Isaac Jones
Yeah, a lot of this ordeal makes me wonder if I should ride the fucking tiger and try to fix this shit and rise up the ranks.
Imagine that, a Black ger riding the tiger and working to make big repairs in the community.
Thanks for listening folks, I needed to get a lot off my chest, and I have very few people who understand my frustrations, unfortunately.
Thomas Scott
Did you fuck any Jewish women? Black men should try impregnating every jewess they can.
>I know people in an old Jewish community of mine that would deride most Jews as being "greedy merchant-class Jews" with no sense of higher pursuits and who shouldn't be trusted to make decisions on matters of the spirit or art. Fuck, do you have Jewish relatives? I see this in my family, literally my father's family are bankers whose only purpose in life is to generate money. What is the reason? To have more money. There are others with construction companies, it is the same story only that happens to take all those around you. My mother's family on the other hand, is much more humble, simpler, they enjoy simply sitting down and drinking mate and talking about how it was the day. They are also of humble origin, I suppose that makes them better people. Fuck I will never identify with the Jewish side of the family
Jace Flores
Like I said I'm a convert, but I did make close friends in old communities and they opened up to me. People reveal a lot if you listen with a kind ear.
And the dichotomy you describe is spot on. My background is like that of your mother, but I've managed to find a job a in lucrative field after going to a 'good school'. I will never identify with folks like your father's family. I'm ambitious, but only out of a desire to have true peace of mind and fulfillment in my life and the lives of any future children.
Unironically, I only date Jews with at least one non-Jewish parent or grandparent. For many of the reasons you describe there.
Chase Brown
The solar soul of the Aryans, I remember reading that for evola there may be the case of someone born with a soul different from their race
Thomas Collins
That's definitely in Evola. I don't discuss it too much because I don't want to see like (1) I'm a self-hating Black, (2) self-hating Jew, or (3) I worship white people.
I do think there's a non-white nationalist interpretation of that, but IMO it would be lost on most of Jow Forums.
Colton Ross
As in, "the creative spirit itself is a race that transcends genetics, but can be linked to culture and spiritual practices"
Ryan Jenkins
I doubt that that family will love each other literally I remember my father being attacked by his cousin. -You have AB1 license -Do not -Look you're ordinary - (Name of the family) the same as you have. I think most of them go wrong, it's because there is a serious problem in the structure of Jewish families. But come on is what I have seen in my family no idea if it is applicable to other Jewish families. As far as I'm concerned, I do not take almost nothing out of that family, last summer in Chile (December, January, February) I went literally to work as a seasonal worker picking fruit.
Kevin Clark
People who vociferously promote "beautiful" ideas generally do so as a way of compensating for personal failings. Remember this.
Caleb Rodriguez
Hey OP, me again. A thing I suggest you look at, if you have about 12-20 hours to spare on reading, is hli.anoninfo.net, and see how it treats you.
Also, I'm confused as fuck. How did a darkie get in to LDS? I mean, I know they exist, but they're fucking unicorns, aren't they?
Daniel Anderson
Explain why I should bother spending that much time, friendo. Do you think I’ll have some special insight, or are you just a spamfriend?
It’s rare, but more common in coastal regions of the US and the in the third world
Camden Flores
yes its a total KEK GUIDE >eat potatoes, orange juice, white rice, and ice cream >no chicken or pork! lmao
