According to the government statistics, the murder rate is only 5 in every 100k for whites. On the outside it's only slightly lower at 4.3 for every 100k.

From my understanding when you get there your given papers detailing your case which everyone will want to see. If I snitch on someone will it show on there? It would say I cooperated right?
Why do they allow this? Isn't this a death sentence for a lot of people? How have there not been lawsuits? If you were to get hurt could you sue for this? Prisons restrict tv viewing of local news stations for this issue, but allow papers?
If you're a known snitch or pedo, they only have a few days during the inpross period to get you. After that, you are immediately placed in PC. Unless you or a guard spills the beans, you can just say you were pinched for a theft or something.

No, you don't get arrested for snitching. Whatever the crime you were pinched for is what your papers will say. It may say you were a cooperating witness win another crime, hence the reason you can request PC. Generally speaking, you'll be corralled into a holding tank during processing and then place you in your respective cell. It's during this period where you request PC, which you will almost always get if you have viable reason. Skinners and people of importance are usually sent there immediately, without the request.
