I got suspended from reddit for 3 days for more or less quoting Sura An Nisa 4:34 but without hinting at it. All I did was say that "We need to beat women, not severely but to keep them in their place."
Which is perfectly in line with Sura An Nisa i.e. the Quran. Why is the west so cucked that they will ban a single user for quoting the Quran but not just outright ban the Quran?
Don't take this as me being a redditor becaus the only reason I went on there is to see what the big deal is. Reddit sucks and you get hit with that lesson in the first week.

I went from here to reddit a few months ago. I understand now why reddit is hated and learned a lot of how insane the "left" is. They have subs like "blackpeople[insert anything]" and "whitepeople[insert anything]". Muhammad (pbuh) clarified in his farewell sermon that no severe use of force is allowed on a wife. it is therefore 1. not allowed to beat women haphazardly 2. barely allowed to strike them at all 3. an absolute last resort if a conflict can not be resolved, while 4. it should always be the goal to reach an agreement, rather than to force your way and 5. if the wife is unhappy she may leave.

If both Quran and hadith are from God, then why separate them? And I don't remember everything now, but one line I do know is used in order to declare anything said by Muhammad to be a legal precedent- that there is imo a more satisfactory interpretation of the line, which would make Muhammads delivery of the Quran holy, not his every word. There is a whole surah dedicated to showing how Muhammad made a mistake. It does invclude his realization and prayer for forgiveness, and so on, but it still shows that he was human, that his life was human. There is a whole Quranic segment dedicated to saying that making any law have holiness attributed to it beyond what the Quran commands is religious malpractice.
What I love is God, and I believe the Quran is His word, and I believe Jesus was His greatest servant, and even Jesus, in his own words, was bad, because all humans are.
I do believe Muhammad judged with a divine mandate, as a part of his position as prophet, but the hadith ought at most be seen as advisory. Indeed: are there ever two identical legal cases? Who is to say how he would judge if some details were different? But the Quran is clear, is perfect.
