What is more important, pharma stocks going up or people surviving?
What is more important, pharma stocks going up or people surviving?
Pharma stocks going up. I've invested in those.
The latter I'd reckon.
>people surviving
What "people"? Degenerates? Why do you care about someone who is stupid enough to ingest opioids? Let them die.
Well its a lot of vets who get hooked on them. Kinda seems like a shitty system.
>go to war for Israel
>get your legs blown off my durka
>come back home, get prescription for meds
>can't afford them after a few weeks, already addicted
>buy fentanyl
>die a homeless disabled junkie because Sackler thought he could make a nice profit
>dumb enough to go to war for Israel
again, why should anyone care about the survival of someone who is obviously a gullible idiot?
What people are we talking about here?
Alright, you don't care about junkies, fair. What about the junkie mugging you or your wife to pay for his next dose?
Addicts.
>What about the junkie mugging you or your wife to pay for his next dose?
I live in America friend. I have a CCW and so does my wife. In the unlikely event that we're walking down the street somewhere where we could get mugged, one of us or both of us will simply shoot the assailant dead on the spot.
They should be purified with fire.
Good on you for protecting yourself, but my point is wouldn't you rather not have to do that, ie not have a hundred thousand junkies on the streets rotting away and killing people?
Definitely the stocks, they at least have some kind of value to society unlike drug-addicted welfare recipients
Same thing with prep, it’s the same drug they’ve been selling and they know it messes people up but they still sell it.
Could they have value if they weren't drug-addicted? I'm guessing people are more productive and contribute to the economy if they aren't looking for the next fix
Who is dying? And where are their bodies?
Junkies. In Amerika presumably.
You've got to realize that in this country at least, people on opiates are the least of my worries in terms of crime reduction. Now I know what you're thinking: blacks and hispanics are only so high on the crime charts because they're the ones being used to peddle these opiates. That's not true. The state of West Virginia for example is one of the whitest states in the US and has one of the absolute worst rates of meth and opioid abuse, while also having one of the absolute lowest violent crime rates.
I'm more likely to be mugged or shot at by some nignog for a pair of shoes or 6 dollars than I am for drug related reasons, which means dealing with drug abuse is pretty low on the priority list, especially since if all of these people are killing themselves with drugs, in theory over time the problem with pretty much sort itself out as long as soft hearted people stop trying to help them.
>Well its a lot of vets who get hooked on them.
So, at most, 1% of the population; that is, if EVERY vet is hooked on them?
> What is more important, pharma stocks going up or people surviving?
To patients, or stockholders?
Who are the cucks that die from cocain?!
I agree that violent/black crime is a much bigger worry for any one person in the US, but violent crime actually went down in the last ten or twenty years, whereas opioid abuse skyrocketed. I guess I just think its a worrying trend.
1% of the US is still millions of people.
To you personally, I'm curious about Jow Forumss take on the subject. If you're a Gilead shareholder, argue for that position.
People surviving, but not getting cured.
A cured patient is a lost customer.
Stocks going up.
