Not joking. It's not important where they are when praying: New York, Paris, London or Madrid. The important thing is, that they always pray to Mecca. Why is that? Because the Kaabah is in Mecca. And at the center of the Kaaba (Islam's most sacred place of worship) sits a big black stone. The big black stone is the holiest of the holy in Islam.
So when every Muslim in the world pilgrimages to Mekka to see the black stone, wouldn't it be logical to call them StoneWorshippers or MeccaWorshippers?
If it would take off, we could dropkick a lot of people with the fact, that islam is in reality a pagan religion. They worship a stone.
Shard worshippers. The original black stone is gone, only shards remain in the Kabba. It was supposed to be a meteorite the Arab pagans worshipped and somehow it could appropriated into Islam so now Muslims pray in the direction of the shards of some old pagan meteorite.
The black stone is not the holiest holy in isla nor even mecca. Mus's even was praying in direction of Jerusalem for a few years before allah ordered them to change direction. Just being honest is a good thing.
