Using your mobile/cell phone to pay for items

I’m noticing an increasing amount of people using their mobile/cell phone to pay for items, how many of you faggots have bought into this??

It beats dicking around with those goddamned chip cards.

Its gay as fuck.. use cash or credit cards. Fuck smartphones.

It's no different than using paypass, or the chip on your bank card. If you don't want the jews to know what your purchasing habits are, then use cash.

Fuck that.

I never had a phone like that before

cash pride world wide

I like it because then I don't need to carry a wallet.
Less shit in my pockets

My credit card has some promo where I get extra cashback for using it.

Only when it's crypto otherwise it's fucking gay.

Actually both done research and coded this and other shit, all I have to say is that I do not nor would I EVER use it my self...

that said here now all credit cards has snfc too, so can't escape it. You lit just take the card and hold it over like this, no pin required...

and do you know how easy it is to simply read that god damn tag and copy it?

well I can just stand behind you in line at the grocery store and read and then later write it to a new god damn chip...

it's... yeah....

Here they have some kind of "bank-ID", that you can get on your phone. For logging on to banks, you can use a separate device just for that (you put your password in, the numbers, and get a return). I don't think having your online ID on the phone, a computer itself, seems like a very smart idea. Then it's no longer two-factor, and no longer safe.

For similar reasons, I wouldn't want my bank account connected to my phone. I might consider connecting it to my card account, which I limit by only putting in a small amount of money (what you'd typically use in a day) into.

Most modern phones have it.

Some stores here don't accept cash, down to surprisingly small ones like a flower shop. Pretty dumb, but that's what you get when importing shitskins and making anyone with money a target I guess.

What if you keep your cards in a metal case, though?

I didn’t realise it worked on my Ericsson GA318?

Sheep who don't care about anyone but themselves.

Thats why I only carry a credit card. If anything is stolen, its stolen from the (((bank))).

you will need something that blocks high frequency radio signals

A regular thin sheet of iron-whatever it is, won't do?

Not me.

i dont even own a smartphone

and haha! that is a thing ofc, just checking here (it's years since I did this now), and there are wallets, stickers everything you can imagine to shield it

ie at alibaba.. not a bad idea lol
here you are responsible for I am not sure less than about 5k fish shekels I think, over that and it's on the bank I am not sure

or you know your typical tin box you have for pastilles and whatever should do

It's supposed to be more secure.
I heard a couple of rascals are able to 3d print a credit card by using one of those card scammers they sneak on top of the scanners at the store.

Don't take the mark! (It will probably be a "V")

>" And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16-17

>" And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image." Revelation 16:2

>" And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Revelation 19:20

>" And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." Revelation 14:11

India has a UPI system. I can create virtual IDs to send receive payments in seconds. The virtual ID is tied to my bank account. You can also send me money on my phone number and I'll get it in my bank account. The API is open for banks, apps to integrate it in them and I even get a bill before approving payment. It is fantastic.

There are zero fees and it takes seconds

I have something that looks a bit like this, but a bit different in shape (thin brushed black metal box). It's pretty old, so I can't say where I got it. It's much heavier/thicker than a mint box's metal, but not prohibitively so (as it's still only a bit larger than a card) The top and bottom are flush where they attach in the back (so no gap), and there are some springs to pop it open. The latch is just a piece of the top bent down to cover a pressed-out notch in the bottom part (you have to re-bend it a little every few years if it gets loose). It only holds maybe three cards with the raised lettering, so if I get more I'll have to get one of those wallets that now exist for the purpose.

I actually figured having a shielded pocket might not be so bad in the future, somewhere to stick the phone if I wanted it to get lost for a while. Altough from a counter-surveillance perspective, it's virtually pointless. I just don't want anyone to hack my device that contains links to everything important, which is a worry when you're carrying around a modern smartphone. Guess I keep essentials out of it anyway (like the bank ID and ability to make payments/access the bank), but still.

Remember to apply for the new apple credit card goyim

We have something to just send/recieve money like that as well. It doesn't work everywhere, but anyone can get it and connect it to their bank. Where the danger lies, as I see it, is that the phone is a computer. It's a very bad idea to tie it directly to your bank account, in any fashion other than that of a limited account (say an account for a card, that you only put a small amount on at a time). A phone can get hacked and self-verify if it has the certificates and credentials for it, and someone could basically transfer all of your money if they figured out a glitch.

It's better to stay with old-fashion two-factor authentication, and separate devices (card/code) for payments, in my opinion. Swipe-of-your-hand-payments are probably "the future", but I'll resist it for as long as I can.

I tried that out about 4 years ago. Worked okay, but I could never get over expecting it to fail so I just went back to cards. It doesn't seem much more convenient.

Its fast and simple.

Yeah, you kind of feel like a jackass when it doesn't work. Still better than making small-talk with the clerk while you wait for the chip reader to finish.

The system has hard limits which are set to around 600$ a transaction and 1000$ per day by default. Plus the app itself has a second factor.

Plus banks here are mandated to insure against any fraud.

Like there's anyone in India using something more complicated than a Firefox phone and a fist full of poo covered rupee notes.

Why is it always a retarded american who wants to stick his dick in other people's conversations? Majority of American posters don't add any value and should be culled from this board.

American banking system is retarded and a complete mess. You either are locked into proprietary garbage with 4-6% fees or you use your retarded cheques and all the fraud that people there commit with it.

Cyber security faggot here. It’s marginally safer than chips and a lot safer that magnetic stripes. It basically uses a one time use fake card to prevent fraud. I was skeptical till I researched it. Theoretically it’s very sound but might be fucked in how it’s implemented. Breddy convenient tho.

It's 6am, why are you on this board right now?

Note I did this research on applepay but androidpay is theoretically similar. Cash is still king though.

Proxy, NEET, or fellow insomniac work from home.

>Plus the app itself has a second factor.
You can't self-authenticate on one device and call it two-factor. It's just one, then. But not as safe as a physically separate "dumb" thing (card/code), rather, just software saying that it recieved the correct password code or whatever (fingerprint "OK") without any actual physical input required if you manage to trick it somehow.

>Plus banks here are mandated to insure against any fraud.
That's good enough then, I guess.

It's 3 here. Pic related.

That was what I found out about it. I used to use the old Google Wallet Mastercard before Android Pay.
He's using a VPN with a pass

Or go getter!
Good for you prajeet.

That's the danger. Everything is linked to your phone or your mobile no. Also after the fingerprint 2nd factor, it asks for the bank 2nd factor to approve payment. It's a 4 or 6 digit numeric ID that you need to remember. I think it's good enough for most people

that's straight up mark of the beast transaction status

Are NFC hotel room keys also the devil?

First they get rid of cash. They claim people who pay with cash might be terrorists. Hotels already do this. Then credit cards become outdated because "oh credit/debt sucks I can just use my fancy phone instead!". The masses all have new shiny phones too, so its a cool gimmick. Then when they realize the flaws and that their info can be stolen the elites will say "Oh how about a chip in your right hand!". You want to board a flight or buy anything, you better get the mark of the beast chip goyim. Don't even have to be a christ cuck, a fucking (((good goy))) chip is bad no matter how you look at it.
