I'm a "girl" myself, if you count having a vagina as being a girl.

This year no one, but last year I pursued 4 guys, and tried tinder and okcupid.

The rejections took a toll on me and I haven't done much pursuing this year, except for flirting here and there.

Maybe, but a partner can lead to more frustration aswell. You can enjoy being with someone, but no one can "fix" you. I recommend self discovery, followed by new experiences. What I mean is thinking hard about why you feel the way you do over a period of time at which you can accept your feelings and needs will always be with you. You wouldnt be first nor last victim of low self confidence. Many many people literally think its a joke that somebody is trying to flirt with them.
