1) Biologically we are not made to eat a vegan diet. Being a vegan might feel good at first if you are cutting out a bunch of junk food, but overtime certain blood-lipid problems arise. 2) This also causes foggy thinking and lack of moral clarity. If a vegan says eating fish is the same as murder, then ask them why they aren't opposed to abortion. Fetuses can "feel" pain and respond to their environment, so why is it okay to murder that to avoid responsibility but not to harvest an animal to acquire its nutrients and enhance life?
It's also fun to remind vegans that hunters and fishermen pay for licenses that fund all the biologists to monitor and conserve the natural habitat. Going hunting is better for the environment than buying an electric car.
