Many atheists defend Christianity because they see that it is attacked most out of all religions, even though Islam and Judaism are obviously far worse.

I'm a lifelong atheist and I vastly prefer Christianity to nearly all the alternatives. Like it or not, it's a faith that generally encourages you to be a good person; that's a trait I have yet to see even a hint of in Jewry or Mohammadism.

I agree with this. Also an Atheist, but "culturally Christian". Christianity is fine, it's just the LARPing and the nut case tier theology being peddled by Christcucks (not Christians, but Christcucks, note the difference). Nut case deity-related subjects aside, the cultural aspects are good for society and helped form western culture. We should aim to keep that much at least.

His assumption that there was ever "nothing" is a problem. If there was never "nothing" then the rest of what he's saying means nothing.

If you look at it from another point of view, imagine there is nothing. Until there is "something", there is nothing. Let's say there's an extremely small chance of nothing becoming something else. The amount of time this takes doesn't matter; because as long as there is a chance, it will eventually happen. If you are atheistic, you merely have to conclude that because we exist, it proves that there was never an impossibility that we wouldn't exist. This doesn't take any faith at all, only logic.

Atheism is pretty stupid though; if you can't prove it, you can't say anyone that thinks differently is wrong, or at least not in as smug a manner as most of them do.
