Catholicism is the only true Church of God. Catholics don't worship Mary, we venerate her just like we venerate important figures in Catholic history such as Saint Francis of Assisi or ask God to have archangels like Michael or Raphael to protect us.

I'm orthodox Christian but it's the same deal for us. We venerate her as she is the Mother of Christ (God). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all considered God by trinitarian beliefs. Saints are also venerated. We don't worship her or them though. Worship and veneration are quite different. Hope this explains it.
