I'm a married man with a household income of $170k a year. The "tax cuts" took away thousands of dollars worth of write offs that I used to be able to take advantage of. I had to give back $7500 this year which is the most I ever have. Trump's tax cuts benefit the poor and the rich and fuck us over in the middle.

You people keep saying that but clearly don't have even a basic knowledge of the changes that were made to deductions. I paid 27% of my gross taxable vs 18% the previous year because of the elimination of certain deductions. Every tradesperson and even people like salesmen and such that travel are in a similar boat.

I didn't get a smaller refund because less was taken out. I paid a much higher tax rate.

1. Total adjusted gross income
2. Total withholding
3. Total tax liability
