Because pagan religions were very diverse and localized (even if they had a common indo european root) with little evangelism going on, they were religions of the land.
On the opposite side christianity URGES its worshippers to spread the gospel and convert everyone, it is the first universalist religion.
Also it took around 700 years to really convert Europe to christianity. The baptism of Clovis (considered the first king of France) in 500 was the beginning of the end and then Charlemagne rule 300 years later was the nail in the coffin for pagans. Didn't happen in "a few years" at all.
There was also a rural + urban component involved, as well.

>700 years to really convert Europe to christianity. thats fast as fuck for a time like that, lmao. >Didn't happen in "a few years" at all I was talking about the roman empire

Because early Christians acted like the pseudo-kikes they are. Take the English, for example. You have missionaries like Bede the Venerable and others who infiltrated the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms to study what they worshiped in order to subvert and twist their own faith and beliefs against them.
A few centuries of work later and what do we find? Eostre becomes Easter and it's about Jesus being reborn, the Kings and nobles believe they're Israelites directly descended from Moses the monks claimed was actually Wodan, from whom they originally claimed direct descent from, the burial mounds, altars, sacred waters have been syncretically linked to the Christian and Jewish prophets and saints like Saint George (who was once Sigurd the bringer of victory and Dragon Slayer). I'm not even going to talk about the bribes, treasons, kidnapping and ransoming of wives and children to force the nobility to convert and through oaths of fealty bring about the conversion of the yeomen, serfs, and freemen. It's just so sad to know they were undermined from within that way.
Even after all this, Germanic polytheism persisted. in the late 14th century. you had the archbishop of Canterbury issuing edicts and demanding the nobility stop gatherings at sacred wells, and trees.
>Now, do not tell the priests of our right >For they would call it a sin >But we've been out in the woods all night >A-conjuring summer in! >And now we bring good word by mouth >For children, cattle, and corn >Now is the sun come up from the south >With oak and ash and thorn!
Honestly, I would twist your question around. How has Christianity been so utterly fucking weak compared to paganism? 2000 years later, the Church pews are emptied, the cathedrals are getting knocked down, and Europeans have more or less abandoned the Church for anything but Christianity when they aren't repressed by Inquisitions and holy wars.
Seems like paganism is killing off Christianity at the moment. It's that or Islam for Europe. If you can't tell that Christianity is fading fast and already dead in Europe I don't know what to say. It took 800 years for Christianity to get rid of paganism in Western Europe. You're about 75 years in to the end of Christianity in Europe and it's falling a lot faster than paganism did the first time. Go back to your roots or get Islam

>Kings and nobles believe they're Israelites directly descended from Moses Based Brits. Zioshit America should learn a lesson from them and teach Whites are the Israelites in schools.

>in order to subvert and twist their own faith and beliefs against them. [citations needed] did they falsify the bible they gave them? did they rip out the pages that didnt fit? and lets say all that was true, why were they still so extremely easy to convert to Christianity anyway? Even if they had portrayed Christianity as some warrior-god religion (which they didnt), why would the pagans convert to begin with? Why was it so fucking easy? kek.
>Honestly, I would twist your question around Christianity completely ended paganism in europe (and far beyond) lmao. Paganism didnt even pose a threat to it. All the pagan religions was demolished so utterly hard its almost laughably sad. The only threat to Christianity was Islam. Christianity is still the fastest growing religion (just surpassed Islam) in the world despite its hickup in Europe. and is set to cover over half the global population very soon. In China alone its skyrocketing beyond belief, with thousands converting every single day.

>Tried desperately to kill off Christianity for over 300 years - failed horribly.
They didn't try to kill off Christianity. Persecutions were few and far between. Scholars of ancient Christianity have been perfectly clear for over a century that Christian were left alone to do their own thing for most of Roman history.
After Nero's persecution (64 AD), Christians were left alone in almost total peace until Decius in 250 AD. Then they were left alone until Diocletian, who didn't even care about Christian religion but just wanted them to man the fuck up and fight for the Empire.
By contrast, as soon as the christkikes took power, they started wiping out pagans. Then, when they got bored with that, they started wiping out each other. Read up on what the good christkikes did to their fellow christkike Priscillian because he worshipped the christkike god in the wrong way.
>They didn't try to kill off Christianity >Persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire occurred intermittently over a period of over two centuries between the Great Fire of Rome in 64 AD under Nero and the Edict of Milan in 313 AD >"they were mostly left alone after nero" Literally as the worst persecution started, lmfao en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Christians_in_the_Roman_Empire

Archangel Michael is a warrior figure which did help with the spread of Christianity. For example the Normans, at least the ones in Italy, were really big fans of Angel Michael which you can see in Italo-Norman art.
Overall a big part of why Christianity spread over Europe was because it could adapt to local religions and synchronize Angels and Saints with pagan divinities.
Archangel Michael was never made up as any weapon to convert nordic pagans lmfao. he has literally been in christian theology since day one

800 years is fast as fuck for a time like that lmao. paganism isnt growing anywhere. true pagans are just a bunch of hippies, and then you have the larpers who doesnt even believe in any god but solely use it as some excuse to "worship muh race". kek. paganism as we know it today was just made up by some bored christian monks anyway
The church didn’t just pull Michael out of their ass but he is still a warrior-figure that pagans who worshipped deities like Thor would be inclined to follow.
Also while I’m not an expert at Christian theology, it is probable that Archangel Michael and how he is generally depicted changed over time.
>The church didn’t just pull Michael out of their ass but he is still a warrior-figure that pagans who worshipped deities like Thor yes but they never made shit up just to convert some warrior worshipping pagans.. is what im trying to say.
