Perhaps some of you have seen this before, perhaps not. This isn't just for awareness, nor is it pleading for assistance. This... is an opportunity.
I know for a fact that most of you are good people and despise the exploitation of kids. We can never really do anything about it though. We read, we watch, we talk, what else can we do? The justice system is supposed to take care of it. Yet, this company has legally lowered the age rating of a virtual dating game allowing 12 year old kids to be intimate with adults.
Why not stop them? Why not publicly shame them? We can actually end this. If we don't, nobody will. People think they are powerless to stop a big company. Nonsense! We can make them squeal. We can make them stop.
I'm tweeting directly at these directors and including the video link. They should explain if they think what they're doing is okay.
For the companies advertising inside the game, I'm tweeting and posting on their Facebook pages with the video link - asking why they are supporting this activity.
More than 60% of this company's revenue is from advertising. They have no choice. Once the advertisers pull out, they'll have to stop. We have a silver bullet here, let's use it.
Advertising inside the game: Bloomingdales, Nike, Adidas, 20th Century Fox, Epic Games, Ouroboros, Alan Flannery, Gillette, Oakley, Ray Ban, Johnny Cupcakes. Basically all of Tapjoy's customers as well.

I also mailed (reported) to Google Play (again) that the age rating they applied to the game is based on limited (false) information from the developer. This time I included a link to the video. Previously they didn't even bother to respond to me even though I cited all violations they asked me to on the form.
Well, I know Google is making a shit ton of money from this game so it's not a major surprise that they would try and see if the problem goes away if they hide their head in the sand. Not a fuck. It's not going away. Not this time.

I've actually, in an extremely civilized manner, tried to explain the situation to Tapjoy. (The advertising company that is partnered with the game) This image (12 April) was the final reply they gave to me. Same as Google, trying to wish the situation away.
Can you guys at least help to keep the thread from falling into the abyss? I'd like to keep you updated at the very least when shit goes down.

You will struggle to find a lot of people that both see this as abhorrent but also have a twitter or social media account to help you. All I can say is try to get soccer mums and feminists onto this via social media from the perspective that children, young girls are now in danger of getting groomed for the sake of profits for those CEO men. Even commies could be used as hordes here.
