Jainism, like Bhuddhism or Christianity, is the ossified remains of a once great religion. The True religions are hidden. You will not find saints and prophets in a lavish temple.

>please give me reasons to why should or shouldn't convert. Because you'll be burning in hell when you die.
Benjamin Ward
Not really, I have other reasons as well to why I should do it.
1. It preaches for Non-violence (Ahimsa), and by that, it does not allow in any way for animals to be harmed, at least not in a "kosher" way. I still believe that humans need meat, however, I also believe that an animal should never suffer in it's last moments. 2. Non attachment to material possessions (Aparigraha), which is basically anti-consumerism. 3. It explains that soul exists without God, because our Universe has always existed and that will always exist for eternity.
There are other things that I could mention, but in a nutshell, this is just perfect religion for me.
These people go around wearing masks so they won't accidentally swallow and kill bugs.
Carter Cook
Go away you filthy kike. Non violent until muslims break the peace. Then we become violent, mind you.
Tyler Morgan
Well they don't realize that bugs are parasites that don't deserve any sympathy at all.

im going to be completely honest...i am a christian. not catholic, and not necessarily evangelical either. i just believe in the literal interpretations of christ as portrayed in the four gospels.
anyway, to be 100% honest, i find that the whole concept is empty and unfulfilling. every day, despite being a wagecuck loser in this modern, degenerate age, i think about the metaphysical, the divine, and my inevitable death. i cant tell you guys how much my heart truly wishes that somehow, someway, the bible is wrong...that there is no "hell." that when i die, i will either be annhilated absolutely, or experience a rebirth and get to start from scratch, although currently, i would prefer the former (im so tired).
that being said, i remain a christian because, the way i see it, the safest way to exist, is to espouse the beliefs of the system with the harshest possible punishment for those who refuse to adhere to its tenets. this is the reason i have not sought enlightenment through other routes, most notably, eastern mysticism/psychedelics. i feel trapped, and as i get older (i am 27 right now) i am feeling more hollow, yet more aware of my emptiness, and it is having a severe impact on every single aspect of my life...everything. what is this called? is this the fabled "existential crisis?"
>ty for your answer yeah np. also, seriously seeking an answer(s) to my question(s). probably on the path to suicide. would appreciate some metaphysically-inclined annon's advice. you guys are my only friends.

it's called losing your religion.
Grayson Brooks
As someone who has messed with psychedelics, occult and eastern religion I strongly suggest you not only keep your faith, but seek it twice as hard. I just recently came back to Christianity and can confirm it's the true faith. Had to wade through some serious spiritual warfare to find my way back. I've also had strong prophetic dreams of Jesus' return. I'll see you on the other side brother.
Jesus taught eastern mysticism. Eightfold mysticism, as it's more accurately called, was taught by all our great prophets. Is it just coincidence that Jesus had 72 disciples and Mohammed had 72 wives? >The kingdom of heaven is like a yeast that a woman took and mixed with 60 lbs of flour, kneading it all through the dough. Those who seek the Truth also seek Jesus. Don't let the pharisees and fools confuse you.
It is up to your friends to decide on whatever or not to commit suicide, in all honesty, I do not want you to be dead, but if you are really sure about doing it, then please, think of your friends in your darkest hours. Wish them everything good in their life, and the best way to do that is to write them a letter. They will be sad, but they will also know that you were their friend, so they will understand your decision, and thus you will be forgiven. No worries about going to hell, truly, hehehe. Stay strong user.
You feel hollow user because you've taken on the shallow metaphysical understandings of the Christians. By them having told you that you ought to identify yourself with your emotions, feelings and personality; as this is what ultimately goes to heaven or hell, they have made you feel attached to things that you know to be transient. Your existential crisis comes from you feeling trapped in the world of senses, in the world of wagecuckery and degeneration because you feel connected to these things. But just as the world, wagecuckery and degeneration is transitory, so is your attachments to these things.
You must seek that which is Eternal. Time to come home, user.

I think that Jainism is so radical with ahimsa that it's as bad as Christianity. Look into sanatana dharma (Hinduism). It is entirely compatible with ethnonationalism and national socialism and is the most similar religion to the original European traditions.
