I genuinely know 2 UK police officers. 1 male and 1 female. The male told me they prefer to shakedown non-whites; and colleagues engage in lots of locker-room sex. The female didn't enjoy her job by all accounts; and stated her mood determined if she would arrest people or not. I knew both from school. And both possessed a I-am-better-than-you attitude.

Here I find that younger hispanic cops tend to take their job, professionalism and law and order very seriously to an almost comical level, but they are also a bit jumpy.
White cops are a mixed bag, most of the local ones (rural, cities and suburbs, ive lived in all of them) seem to be rude thieves, a notable exception are state troopers who in this state are both renown for their professionalism and their willingness to shoot you dead if try to fight with them while not being rude about it.
Black cops tend to be policing black areas, barely interacted with them, never had a problem whatsoever.
I saw my first young female cop who was out in the field a few months ago, my vehicle was parked legally and turned off and I was on the sidewalk nearby, she asked for my Driver's License, pointed out that my registration was about to expire and asked if I had any weapons on me. My response was "Not on me, please let me go in peace."
I hate the government, I sympathize that many of the people who work for them are trying to do good, I do not have much patience for blatant foolishness.
