Because they are just rebellious, ego driven nonconformists instead of people suffering from actual gender dysphoria, they will "take back" their gender identity by wearing pants and suits again, saying that gender is on the inside and no amount of aesthetic preening can change the person you are internally.
So basically the pendulum will swing back and the people who were only following trends will just do everything they can to get ahead to the next trend, but many many people will have killed themselves because they bought into the "I can make myself a real woman by wearing a dress" meme.
