Any rail supporters here?

Do you think Trump's new $2 Trillion "Infrastructure plan" will include any support for rail or mass transit?

I support railing your mom lol

The last thing I want is to make it easier for shitskins to move around

Passenger trains are gay.

No because Boeing lobbyists won't allow HSR to compete with them.

Or oil lobbyists.

No, this money is for Israel

He's using it for rural broadband so more pol users will have access from their homes.

High speed rail seems unnecessary in this age.

I would love rail. The project should be led by Senpai Elon Musk

Well of course it seems unnecessary to you. All your countries have like one town.

Fpbp

It provides faster trips with more room for passengers and doesn’t rely on oil. You also don’t need to get groped by TSA. It’s an all-around big improvement.

I'm a strong supporter of rail. It is a huge convenience when I go to Japan or Europe, and after Boeing royally shit themselves with the 737 and 787 fiascos it seems like a real possibility.

What's wrong with 787? Had those electrical fires in the beginning but it's a good airplane these days, doing better than the A350 for sure.

It’s just as expensive as airfare domestic in Japan and takes just as long. It’s hardly worth it

there is only one plan
freeing the solar system from the jews
everything else leads to utter ruin of everything and everyone good

The railroad built America.
Make America Great Again and build an awesome infrastructure project. Coast-to-coast rail could be Trump’s legacy.

nigga has a point
driving a car takes resources and self reliance
hopping in a train and shitting it up is free
imagine NYC's subway on a national scale

Attached: 1457329313533.jpg (470x269, 28K)

Lmao it’s way faster, do some research

Trains don’t charge a fare in France?

Also we have to spend over $400 billion/year here on roads and highways. Shit’s expensive as fuck and trains would take traffic off the roads for car drivers.

jesus christ if they're putting 2 trillion into it I'd expect nothing less than mass teleportation infrastructure

Should go back to boats/canals...

It’s a multi-year plan I believe.
But we spend almost half a trillion every year on roads/highways alone. Our roads and bridges are falling into mass disrepair. Building more will just incur more costs.

We still have those.

However we did tear out a lot of our rail infrastructure after ww2 and paid dearly for it.

Only if you American learn train manners. I would rather ride a packed rush hour subway in Seoul every day than ride on your public transit system ever again.

I love rail travel, but I'm not sure it makes sense in the US. I love being able to go from city center to city center and having enough room to get work done. NY to LA would be a LONG trip, even on a bullet train.

it would be nice to not be worried about being murdered by an idiot on the road every time i go to do something. I wish every town had a subway/rail system

Honestly surprised USA doesn't have good rail infrastructure

NY to LA? No one would do that unless they were a train enthusiast.

High-speed rail is for regional travel. Charlotte to Atlanta. Miami to Orlando. NY to Boston. Portland to Seattle. Nashville to Atlanta.

People make a lot of these trips by plane or car now and it's inconvenient.

This. We want regional rail for cities and HSR for inter city travel. We arent going to force plumbers in rural wyoming to give up their cars

2 trillion is needed to just repair existing roads

Screen-cap this: some kike-owned company is going to create cheap, crappy, roads ... for that full amount. Watch and see this happen, newfags.

This "infrastructure plan" is to repair failing infrastructure in Ca. and the both east that state and local governments can't afford to do on their own anymore. So if these places have rail projects they will try to make the rest of us fund it.

*both = north

Trump needs to invest in fixing existing infrastructure. But that's not "sexy" and I'm sure some genXer faggot at the White House told him that he needs to get behind something (((new))) to get all that sweet sweet taxpayer money flowing to the (((right))) pockets

I truly hope so. I can't afford this car shit anymore, I'm driving 1.3 hrs to work and 1.3 hrs back, I'm spending 3 hours on the road per day. I can't keep doing this.

Attached: image.png (1161x735, 831K)

the biggest waste of money since afgan and iraq war. itll only help niggers and shitskins

I hope so. I'd much rather ride a train than drive halfway across the country.

Kushner's Chabad cancer was already awarded the contract

its 3 times as expensive because of bureaucracy and corruption

thats corruption from the construction company.
They negotiate contracts that ensure they will continue to have work.
Whats better, get all your work done in a timely manner and have less for the future, or manage things so that you are always at work, even if you aren't always working particularly hard?

The latter, of course. So construction companies negotiate contracts that all them to do the latter. If that means getting an alloted period of time to build one lane, they will. Not only will they only build one lane but they will make sure they are working on that lane for as long as the contract will pay them.
Its not efficient, but it is smart.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

IMMEDIATE NIGGER CHIMPOUT HAPPENING

ITS HAPPENING

HAHAHAHA
Having the US taxpayer subsidize the railway shipping industry under the guise of "railway travel."
No one is going to take a 47 hour train from LA to New York for 150$ when you can flight for 200$.

nobody wants to ride fucking train it’s not 1850 god damn it

lmao so true
in maryland you get baltimore nogs everywhere that the train will run

It's because the US is huge and airplanes make more sense for cross-country trips. Trains are only useful for regional and intercity travel.

fuck off advertise somewhere else

Protip,
Don't get on with crocs

kek

>expecting to ride a local HSR, subway, lightrail in your lifetime

dont hold ur breath

1) oil/car mafias wont allow it
2) projects will get sabotaged
3) corruption and bureaucracy will turn the project, which takes less than a year in Europe, Russia, Japan or China, into a 100 yr project because Shartland is beyond corrupt

fyi, a simple, modern light rail in US took 25yrs to build 2 lines covering 20 miles, but this gets done in 1 yr in Europe

I'd save about $500.00 per month if they did this, and about $1,200.00 a year in emissions fees, personal property taxes.

If it cost $100.00 per month for train or metro travel, I would literally save money compared to right now regarding what I spend on all the shit associated with owning a financial black hole car.

The rail should runnfrom south east to north west, avoiding the two cancers on each coast

The Orlando to Miami train is being built as we speak. Progress seems slow, but they are upgrading the tracks that go down the east coast of Florida (FEC Rail). Sadly, it's not going to stop in my county (Brevard).

Quads? Ch-checked?

Attached: 25fz2q.jpg (282x252, 18K)

but Chaim Rockefeller and Levi Bush would end up poor

it's for the best that you sacrifice your life and subsidize the wealth of the Oil Mafia

I do. You can keep your car, shove it sideways right up your ass. Fuck owning a car. I have never felt such anxiety and stress before owning a god damn car. I've been hit twice by people who shouldn't be driving, my insurance goes up $4 every 6 months, and I spend 3 hours on the road driving to and from my job, I pay what amounts to a small mortgage each month for my car, and that's if I only drive to work and back, and to the grocery store

. I want a god damn train.

Would this even work in America?
The moment you arrive at any of the train stations in a major city, you would need a car again because nothing is within walking distance.
It's not like Europe/Japan, where you can immediately enter the closest metro/bus stop.

Well pelosi did say "we must get America out of their cars." And "Americans drive too many miles" so ya Democrats will build empty trains and bike paths until they force us out of the freedom cars give us.

No we are just going for force plumbers in rual Wyoming to move to s city and sit on gibs because we took away their ability to live in a rual environment.

Passenger trains are a bad idea. Those that are currently running are barely afloat.

The same applies to people who would orefer to fly, its why car rentals exist

holy shit you have no clue, only if we could bring back the old F units and restore the golden age of rail in america

Attached: CZ.jpg (1000x697, 140K)

The automobile is not freedom, kek

How many oil wars and how much we spend on infrastructure specifically for them? Theyre an anchor of national debt

Wasn't always that way, and won't always be that way

I know. You are probably right. But I can dream right.
I just fantasize about paying $6-$7 bucks, hoping on a train, sitting for like 35/45min, reading a little, not having to deal with crazy drivers. For me it's almost fappable kek

Oh look, it's this thread again. For the fiftieth time, high speed rail doesn't really work in the US due to the relatively low average population density versus Europe. Our cities are too spread out.

It might work when you have big cities relatively close together, e.g. Dallas/Houston/Austin, Milwaukee/Chicago/Indianapolis. Otherwise, fuck off with this European high-speed rail shit.

American car manufacturers pushed for their government to favour cars over the private rail companies. Hence fuel and roads were subsidised by the state - ever wonder why the phrase "who will build the roads?" was chosen over a thousand other alternatives?

American rail companies compete against state industries whereas it's more or less reversed in other countries.

Nothing in our country is more subsidized and socialized than the automobile. Subsidize the oil, bail out the manufacturers, spend over $200k on every traffic light, pave and replace the roads, and watch our kids get killed in drunk driving accidents (car accidents are the leading cause of death for minors in this country).
Also it’s way more expensive to run utilities to the suburbs than in the city, but the utilities are equally priced for everyone so city dwellers subsidize the energy/water/internet/cable for suburbanites.

>Car infrastructure receives the most public welfare. Since 2008, Congress has transferred more than $140 billion from the general fund (i.e., taxes everyone pays) into Highway Trust Fund, which teeters on insolvency because the federal gas tax hasn’t increased since 1993. State and local governments are in the same pinch, drawing from general funds to pay for roads. A 2015 report from the Public Interest Research Group found the average US taxpayer contributes $1,100 a year to the nation’s driving habit. By comparison, if mass transit’s cost overruns were divvied up equally, everyone in the US would owe about $125 annually. The obvious problem here is that it takes a lot of verbage to explain why transit is actually a great value

Do you know how much we have to subsidize oil companies to make gas affordable?

Majority of people are socially inept, they dont think or feel the way you do, oblivious to it, driving around in la la land

Really it is. I don't have to have my job make a schedule around a bus schedule I don't have to ride on a train filled with niggers. I can go out of town whenever I want unlike people with no cars who can only travel wherever the bus and trains take them.

The US should have had high speed rail from LA to Dallas to Chicago to NYC 20 years ago.

Rail is last century's tech. You can have AI driven cars and make 'rail' travel on any road.

Whats the point, the US has too many hills and mountains for it

This plan of craming everyone into cities works out great then enjoy living in that shit. I'm going out tomcut down a tree to heat my house in my big truck.

US is turd world and will only get worse. Japan, EU, Russia, China is leaps and bounds ahead of us. Just move while you still can and revoke your citizenship to avoid despostism's tyrannical overreach

And you’ve got to accept that America would never have car culture (or car dependency) without several decades of massive subsidies from the oil we refine to fuel our cars, put in our tires, pave our roads, to the highways we spend billions on to the shitty, corrupt manufacturers we bail out, so stop pretending mass transit is socialist while sucking down public money in your car.

300mph mag rails are modern tech you buffoon.

Which is 150mph faster than the top end of current electric cars

Rail is fucked. There are thousands of miles that need serious repair and the job itself pays little for how much time away from home you spend. It's like being a trucker but pays 1/3 of the wages.

you deserve a 3 hr commute in heavy traffic

you deserve privatized transport subsidized by tax payers

you deserve isolation and enslavement

kaputalism is your purgatory

cars arent profitable either but yet the US still subsidizes the shit out of them so that their costs get lowered

The only reason cars go so big was because the government regulate railroad ticket pricing and build a massive freeway system using taxpayer money.

This isn't the free market, it's literal socialism for oil mafia and slavery for the goyim

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_streetcar_conspiracy

>In 1930 the electric streetcar ruled Chicago

with social engineering and propoganda campaigns, GM successfully wasted billions of public tax dollars.
wasted billions of public $$ to fund their monopoly.

The blood of the nation hasn't flowed through the rails for centuries. It's all highways and roads now.

Clearly you don't know how much some of us spend each month owning a car. For you it's great, but for the rest of us, it's not that great. I spend what I already said amounts to a small mortgage each month on owning a car. And thats if I only drive to work and back. Some states make owning a car prohibitively expensive, with tolls, gas, parking fees, insurance, yeah no, I'm done with this shit. I've been hit twice since January, I spend 3 hours on the road each day, and I can't keep doing it.

Attached: image.jpg (1024x686, 638K)

Fair enough, but you usually have more than enough space around any airport to have rent-a-cars.
Seems a bit impractical to have rent-a-cars in the middle of cities, unless the idea is for high-speed rail stations to exist only outside of the major city centers.

Why can't you make a car to attach to a magrail?

Oh that's right. You aim is to destroy private property.

Also, transportation is pollution.

USA was built on enslaving the goyim. Money is just a proxy they use for enslavement.

The slavemaster gives you symbolic money that you are then forced to use to continue slaving and cover the inflated costs of private transportation, shelter, food, healthcare, education... that the slavemaster extorts from you

The capitalist economy is a closed loop system where all the money lavished upon the slave ends up returning back to the slavemaster

Attached: 1555532041873.jpg (500x1107, 66K)

None of that was true before 1913. Blame the Titanic.

I live in Philadelphia, where we do have a pretty big subway and light rail system. I would rather drive to center city and enjoy my leather seats and air conditioning and music that I pick rather than ride the light rail and subway in. I also have a ninja 250 that I take sometimes but you have to worry about that getting stolen.

This.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_streetcar_conspiracy

The faggots that destroyed public transport, public healthcare and sabotage everything deemed "socialist" are the same faggots that organized a fascist coup to takeover US. These faggots succeeded after FDR died.

We have been living under their Oil/Car mafia dictatorship for a century!

Maj.-Gen. Smedley Butler was approached by a wealthy and secretive group of industrialists and bankers, including Prescott Bush, George W Bush's grandfather, who asked Smedley Butler to command a 500,000 strong rogue army of veterans that would help stage a coup to topple then President Franklin Delano Roosevelt." The plan was to assassinate Roosevelt if he resisted.
"The conspirators were operating under the umbrella of a front group ( financial backers) called the American Liberty League, which included many families that are still household names today, including Heinz, Colgate, Rockeller, Birds Eye and General Motors, (including Prescott Bush) ."

May be getting some sort of Mag-lev between St.Lous and Kansas City too soon. Cut a cross state trip into 30 mins. Sound pretty based desu

this is my plan. I'm trying to move over to the UK for trade work after a couple years experience here.
>but muh mooslims
Not as numerous as our undesirables, and there people have the benefit of being the natives and not "on stolen land" as the left puts it. Fighting them off there is easier than here.

You'd better believe the TSA would get their fat sweaty fingers down your shorts at these terminals

>It might work when you have big cities relatively close together, e.g. Dallas/Houston/Austin, Milwaukee/Chicago/Indianapolis.
For the 50th time, this is exactly what we are asking for, numbskull. Nobody wants high speed rail stops in rural alaska

Building on a human scale does not equal everyone being forced into giant glass towers.

The Oil Mafia succeeded in the coup

Bush is a made man in the Oil Mafia and basically the backbone of the dictatorship that controls the NWO.

Bush is the core that connects with all other fascists in this globalist conspiracy against humanity:

>Neocons
>Rockefeller (Oil companies)
>CIA
>Saudis
>General Motors
>ZOG
>3rd Reich
>Al Qaeda
>9/11
>JFK assassination
>Dulles mafia
>China
etc...

Are you fucking dumb? What train goes 700 mph?

Is it gonna stop in Ronkonkoma?

>Do you think Trump's new $2 Trillion "Infrastructure plan" will include any support for rail or mass transit?

You act like this is something that is law and won't be killed in Congress.
