The legal structure exists, and is an angle they must consider when doing things like this. If member banks start to treat the Federal Reserve money as their own, and bring legal scrutiny onto the Federal Reserve, that member bank will be exiled from the banking network.

The Federal Reserve knows it exists on shaky legal foundations, if member banks start rocking the boat, the Fed will only protect itself.

Yes, it's true that the rightful place of the government is to be able to represent the needs of the many individuals rather than the collectives, but it's a detail commonly overlooked. I think it'd be better to bring up anti-trust laws that are already on the books and other specific actions that the government might take than trying to frame everything as "the government" or "muh corporations."

For instance, all corporations are chartered by the government, so really the can just revoke the charter as long as it doesn't violate whatever constitution chartered the government.
