Contra to this point, there was an article on NPR about how blacks /relaxed/, their stress lowered, when they went into more integrated areas. Ie, when they got out of their black neighborhoods, into civilization, more or less. The article framed it as 'leaving more segregated areas into more integrated ones'. Poor blacks - they can't live by themselves, they need to be around whites for economic, and, even, simple stress reduction.
