You cannot kill more Jews than the actual population of Jews. There weren't 6 million Jews in the area to kill. And if I were to believe that that number is true, it would mean that every single Jew in the area was killed. Very few people survived Treblinka. taht was a true extermination camp. s et up solely to kill people. A few people were puleld off the train platform for labour work adn sent to another camp - not many. A couple of the slaves working int he camp escaped. But 7-900,000 others, 99.9% of those sent there, were killed on arrival. they kept them on the trains waiting, then took a few cars emptied them, striaght to the "showers" gassed, emptied the room, sent for the next wagon load. It was a slick operation.

Camp 2 dn three - monowitz and Birkenau were mostly jews, but they were selected for slave labour as theya rrived. they worked in teh huge factories next tot he camp, making coal oil and rubber from coal, for the war effort. adn they worked sorting the belongings of the prisoners who came to the camp, especially those who were kille don arrival. because the four huge crematoria and purpose built gas chamebrs that were constructed at Birkenauw were an extermination centre.
had the Germans won the war, what would have happened to those slaves? death, like they killed the slaves who were tasked with stoking the ovens and moving the dead.
so when the order came to stop the mass killings and cover it up by demolishing the gas chambers in late 44, more prisoners still arrived, adn were not killed. adn those who had been selected as slaves were not killed. so some survived.
about 7,500 were left in the camp when it was liberated out of over 400,000 registered to the camp as slaves and probably twice that number unregistered and killed on arrival.

The amount of fuel that crematoriums use is also ridiculous. People either believe that the Germans had a huge amount of gas lying around for burning bodies while the war was taking place, or there were teams of Germans cutting down trees each day to fuel the fires.

A big reason for moving to camps was the trauma the einsatgruppen suffered. They had to shoot women and children in the neck at point blank over and over. I need to get some proper sources on this, but it is cited as a factor in moving towards other methods than shooting.
By the time the camps even started operating more than a million had been shot on the Ostfront. This attitude that the holocaust was 6 million were gassed is absurd, there was a fuck load of shooting and going house to house in the manner you described too.
