It's a very sad situation here anons, I travel past a lot of homeless people every day in Los Angeles. Every overpass has tents. At least the rains are done for this year, it will be an easier summer. I don't know how to help these fellow humans but nothing that's being done right now seems to be making a difference, at least in their numbers. Los Angeles is very liberal with regards to living in your car, but there's a separate class of car bound homeless and pedestrian homeless. Weird stratifications of the lower class.
